As a business traveller I won't be staying here again. No food available on site, breakfast or evening meal. It required a 5 mins walk around a couple of corners to a sister venue for evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Okay on a fine day, but not good in bad weather. as a business traveller it was a waste of time. No mention of this issue on the Hotels.com website listing, otherwise I would have passed it over. Bigger issue was no effective desk to use my laptop at, but worse still, absolutely no wifi signal anywhere within the confines of my room, room 4. Could only pick it up out in the courtyard, and as there was nowhere else in the building accessible where I could have sat (bar or restaurant) then I could not effectively complete any work (yet another waste of my time) Okay venue for accessing the centre of Wimborne on a social visit, but useless as a business traveller.

Our room was good but others in our party paid the same and were in very small and not so comfortable in rooms

Very well located great rooms well equipped and the staff were just amazing too. Truly recommend!

The stables were mocked up to be staterooms and the wee chandled to a high standard. The best sleep in days. Thank you

Lovely room, large very comfortable bed, coffee bags much better than instant coffee, more hotels should do this.

We stayed in Room 1 dog friendly room and it was delightful. Lovely theming and comfortable stay. The hotel location is perfect in the heart of the town. Would definitely sty her again.

Great place to rest worth the stay

Didn't use tge Olive for breakfast but plenty of cafes in vicinity just outside the door. Its a perfect location and a lovely town as well

The rooms are large and clean with a very old English look and feel amenities are very close. The beds are very comfortable soft but firm

Beautiful room and very comfortable bed. Perfectly situated for shops and restaurants in Wimborne. We loved it.

We stayed at this property as we were visiting Wimborne to go to The Tivoli Theatre. My partner was over whelmed by the room, it's probably the best room we have ever stayed at. The check in was very easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definately use this hotel next time we are in Wimborne.

Loved the decor. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Clean, comfy bed, and great shower. But be aware that the central location to the square = a lot of noise. Disturbances include a constant ticking type sound in the room, noisy bar patrons in the evening, and the constant ringing of church bells on the 1/2 hour. Appreciated the provided ear plugs.

The room was clean the staff was excellent. Our room was beautiful

Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic and charming. The copper bath in the bedroom, the reading nook, the old furniture which gave the room an old time feel but also very clean.

Excellent stay, room is clean and spacious

As advertised, this is a room only (with breakfast available at the nearby sister pub, which we didn't have), right in the centre of Wimborne. The room was clean, the king-sized bed very comfortable, a good shower and a friendly welcome at the little reception desk. It isn't (& doesn't purport to be) a hotel with a bar etc as 1 or 2 previous reviewers evidently expected it to be.
