Lovely hotel

Nice room, food good , pleasant staff, great location

The room we stayed is lovely and comfortable; the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk from Newbridge park and ride, making it an excellent base to visit the wonderful city of Bath. We enjoyed the afternoon sitting outside in the garden (views to the river) having a drink from the bar which has a good selection. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome when we arrived and shown to our room which was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view from our balcony of the river and surrounding fields. Food was excellent and a good choice of beers. Dog friendly which was very important to us. Park and Ride to Bath CC was so convenient and close by. We will definitely stay at the Boathouse next time we visit Bath

Lovely location overlooking the river. Walking distance to the Park and Ride bus into Bath, which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and approachable and the food in the pub was excellent. Warm and comfortable room. The balcony to Room 5 needs replacing as some of the wood is rotten, but it is still pleasant to sit out when the weather is ok.

Lovely setting, excellent staff, good food and ale. Close proximity to park and ride make it a nice place to come back to after a day in Bath.

The room was spotless, well arranged, and the view from the balcony was lovely in the sunshine on Saturday. We ate in the restaurant and the staff couldn’t be faulted and were very attentive and helpful. In my honest opinion I feel the room was a bit overpriced as there were no additional facilities other than the river and the pub.

I have adored my stay at The Dolphin Hotel. It has been a perfect haven and a truly indulgent experience. I am most grateful to the manager for a generous room upgrade and to all staff for making me feel so welcome and at home. The bed and bedding is divine, and the decor and choice of artwork just my cup of tea. I love the little touches, the retro radio with Bluetooth so you can play your own music, retro kettle, excellent choice of drinks & daily biscuits. All has been perfection. Breakfast is very good too!

The Boathouse has fast become my favourite place to stay in Bath. It may not be city central but this riverside setting has a unique charm and the bedrooms are divine. The Boathouse has a Wind in the Willows theme, influencing the character of each bedroom. I’ve stayed in three rooms and each one is a delight. The beds are extremely comfortable; the shower & bath products are high quality & even their teas and coffee are chosen for indulgence, not bare necessity.

Enjoyed our short stay, all staff were very professional, food was of a high standard would stay again sometime in the future.

We stayed overnight and loved it. The room was really comfortable and had a nice view over the river. The pub serves really good food and the staff are really friendly. It is also dog friendly which was great as we had our pup with us. Will definitely stay here again!

Accommodation was very good except we didn’t like the bath/ shower. Not the room I booked. Restaurant attractive but slow service in the evening and at breakfast.

We went for a family wake. The venue was lovely and the staff were fantastic, really helpful. We stayed in Room 1 overnight ans it was clean and tidy and quirky. The view onto the lake was beautiful. will definitely book again

Clean beautiful room. Loved the bed and bathroom and all the amenities in the room. The staff was very warm and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely with a great view .
