The room was just what we needed and the food menu was strong. Staff were are lovely. The outdoor space was fabulous too, especially for the kids

Great little pub with rooms, only down side I slept on the lower floor and big foot was in the room above and woke me up through the night.

As a solo female business traveller, I really appreciate when staff go out of their way, particularly in a busy restaurant. I felt totally comfortable at The Guinness Arms. The room was lovely, a little compact ( I enjoyed hearing the owl at night!) and had great facilities with a coffee machine but no kettle. Breakfast was a real highlight. EV charger worked and set me up with a full battery for the next day.

The room was comfortable, I had a good sleep, I arrived late, it was dark, I had trouble locating my room, no signage, and also trouble getting the key, there were no instructions by the lock.

A lovely stay. The Guiness is very good. We were over an hour early for breakfast, but chef still made us a fabulous sausage sandwich. Loved it.

We had such a lovely stay, we checked out this morning and the place was super clean, beds and pillows really comfortable and lots of coffee/teas in the room. We will definitely be staying again, super close to the town centre of Bury St Edmund’s, just a 15 min drive which was ideal for us! We paid for breakfast this morning which was really tasty and we didn’t have to trek far, just across from the room.

So glad we came across this little gem, the only place I've ever stayed that had no faults. It's comfortable, clean with a fabulous pub and restaurant. The staff are amazing! 10/10 rating does not seem enough!

Our 3rd stat as lovely but we had a different room and was quite small, quite tired in places and shower room awkward and small. Also noise from entryway door and stairs.
