Très belle chambre, très propre, dans une demeure ancienne tres intelligemment restaurée à l'ancienne. Un calme exceptionnel pour un excellent repos. Stationnement sans souci, buffet du petit déjeuner varié. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Please be aware that this place was previously known as Langley Arms but is now an Indian/ Bangladeshi restaurant. The room (premier) was very damp, mouldy, cold, and dated. Yes it’s a 2 star property, but no excuses for stained towels and bedsheets, pillows as thin as paper and no shower gel in BOTH holders. Honestly for the price- don’t! If it was £40 then fine

The staff were really nice here, they even responded to me late at night when I requested the wifi info. The breakfast was great too, nice selection of pancakes and pastries, cereals etc, no hot food (I had to heat my pancakes in the microwave) but they still tasted delicious. The room was quite big, and the property was old so I thought it would be cold at night, but I was pleasantly surprised, it was warm enough and the bed was also more comfortable than I expected. It's about a 30min drive away from Bristol City Centre, and they had onsite parking which was handy. Overall, a great stay for a night or two.

The hotel needs a lot of attention. It is scruffy at best. My room was in dire need of redecoration, a thorough clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower in the bathroom needs a real good clean too. Breakfast was very basic - continental style only. All-in-all, a very disapointing stay.

Really nice people and lovely old building , great buffet breakfast with quality food . There was nowhere to hang clothes in our room and the shower head wasn’t very good . But I would still stay there again

Le petit déjeuner avait déjà été pris par d'autres résidents et il ne restait plus grand chose... Il n'y a pas de personnelles ds l'hôtel. Un boite a clef est a disposition pr prendre la clef de sa chambre.

Free parking. Characterful building. Breakfast ok but basic and some food not replenished second morning (e.g. no orange juice, brown bread, yoghurts, etc)

Lovely old building, room needs upgrade, but comfortable enough, breakfast surprisingly good, did the job for 1 night

Staff were brilliant but there was something going on with the pipes around the heated towel rail in the bathroom, lots of airlock noise which was disturbing. Every 45 mins or so there was a very loud noise, which sounded like the kettle falling off the chest of draws, happened several times during the night which kept me awake. Really don't know what this was but it was loud enough to make me jump. Not sure if anyone else has had an issue. Room 9

Amazing place! Will stay there again when in Bristol. The building is very old and yet up-to-date. Simply awesome!!

Helpful staff on arrival, easy check in, clean room, good facilities, good self service breakfast, perfect accommodation for an overnight stay in the area.

Didnt eat breakfast. Parking good. Room good. Welcoming staff. Only -ve comment would be no residents bar. I was told restaurant only.

This property has a lot of potential if the owners put the work into it. The room was a nice size. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable. No support and I was in tears by the last night. The cold tap handle in the bathroom was broken off and it I could have cut my hand. We had to ask if someone would come to clean the room or at least take the trash out. My husband asked the young man who was attending in the breakfast room about it and he said they would "refresh" our room. They only took out our trash. We were not told where we were to leave our keys when we left and how to contact them should problems arise during our stay. Thr dresser drawers stuck and we had a hard time opening them. Would not recommend until renovations were done.

Easy stay. Continental type breakfast. A few little thing's need updating

We stayed in a top floor room. The ceiling height was low at the door and the bathroom. I hit my head to the ceiling several times. The bathroom was too small and inconvenient. There is no USB charging port, no front desk, no deadbolt or any other type of lock on the door. Everything was dusty and dirty. The only positive was the breakfast and its room.
