Great stay, lovely staff - we would come back again.

Great location, particularly as we arrived on foot!. Friendly welcome but the suite was tired, with mould behind the bathroom sink and shower. Paint is flaking off the ceiling and the sink tap dripping profusely and noisily which genuinely adversely affected our quality of sleep. Bed mattress very soft. Breakfast was OK with the exception of the fruit; the bananas and grapes were well past their palatable date. Breakfast staff didn't even speak. After just returning from 2 weeks touring Scotland, the unsociable, unfriendly, tired hotel was significantly poignant

Nice room, courteous staff, slightly strange location.

Very relaxing stay at Charlotte House. The room was comfortable, the staff very friendly and the location perfect for exploring Lincoln old town.

Spacious and well appointed room. Quiet location right in the centre of Lincoln. Staff very helpful as I left something in the room which was found and sent quickly to me.

Good size rooms with a comfortable bed , breakfast was good . Staff helpful especially sally.

Beautiful hotel full of character. Perfect location for exploring Lincoln, the castle & cathedral. We booked a suite & it was spacious, clean & well decorated. Breakfast had lots of options, the highlight was the warm fresh pastries. We will visit again.

Arrived at the hotel, it's utterly poor to find, whatever genius decided no signage and nonexistent lighting on the building was a good idea is beyond me. Absolutely no way they don't hear that complaint often. When you Google the phone number it's an 0871 number so wasn't calling that. The entire corridor to my room stunk of BAD body ordur which was mad? Also it said free self parking on hotels and it was nearly a £10 until 9am. The room was quirky, the shower and bed was great but wouldn't stay again just for the blag of it all and the stinky corridor. Do better guys

Comfortable room with good facilities

The room was a good size. clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful - my wife thought she had lost a small bag containing 2 keys and the lady on reception went out of her way to look for them - in the event my wife found them at home. The hotel has an excellent position, close to the castle and the cathedral.

Comfy room, peaceful location, close to a lovely tapas restaurant and perfectly located for visiting the castle too.

Très bien situé, bâtiment assez beau mais chambres très très vieillottes, sommiers HS, la réhabilitation n’est pas arrivée jusqu’aux chambres. Dommage

The bedroom had come away from the hinges so door didn’t close. The shower head was extremely scaled and dirty.

This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. Just a few minutes walk to the steep hill and then onto the shopping centre and round to the waterfront. There is plenty of car parking around the hotel but you do need to pay. It was just over £10 for 24 hours, so factor that in if you are on a budget. There is a lovely cafe next to the hotel. A tapas bar, Indian and pub within a stones throw. The Indian restaurant is well worth a trip but book if you can as we had to wait for a table as it’s busy. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were really friendly. Especially the breakfast lady!

Good location for castle and old town, large (paid) car park right outside, friendly staff, clean rooms and continental breakfast.

CThis hotel is situated at the ideal location for a graduation ceremony at the cathedral, but the parking is quite expensive, costing £10.30 per day.

A lovely hotel for our overnight stay. A boutique style hotel recently decorated. The room was a good size with ample space in the bathroom. The continental breakfast set us up for the day. Nice and local to the cathedral and castle. Parking is in the council facility a short walk away. I would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and hopefully not the last! The rooms were spotless, facilities are great, top spec bathroom etc etc. The staff are friendly and informative, and to top it all you get breakfast included! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous hotel to anyone travelling to Lincoln.

Overall reasonable for price. Building tired and breakfast could certainly do with an upgrade.
