We had a really nice weekend at Hillside. The hotel was great, our room had a lovely view and the host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Outstanding in the quality of its provision - rooms very comfortable and well-equipped; breakfast excellent in quality and breadth of provision. Many items home-made. Above all, a welcoming, friendly ambience and attention to detail. Strongly recommended.

Fik en fantastisk modtagelse på hotellet og blev forkælet fra vi kom. Hotellet er flot renoveret med meget pæne og rene værelser. Hotellet ligger roligt i dejlige omgivelser. Ikke langt fra promenaden og bymidten hvor der er lidt liv.

From the warmest of welcomes on arrival to promises of returning on departure I had a most enjoyable stay. The interior and exterior are both delightful with tastefully positioned little touches of quirky art around every corner. The gardens are extensive, providing both blooms for display along with fruit, vegetables and salad leaves for the dining table. All rooms are bright, airy, spacious and beautifully appointed providing ample opportunity for a relaxing break and slumbers deep. Breakfast and dinner menus are thoughtfully sourced from local produce suitable for all tastes and appetites. The food is exceptional. Cleanliness is obviously a priority and it shows. Tak til alle.

Hillside is a lovely,quiet hotel. The food and service were very good. We also had an enjoyable meal at the Bistro restaurant which is owned by the same organisation.

We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend at Hillside. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful conservatory overlooking the sea and tennis courts, perfect for a relaxing afternoon drink. The hotel staff were all so welcoming and friendly, it really made us feel at home. The local knowledge of Ventnor and the rest of the island was much appreciated, and we enjoyed the resturaunt recommendations! A real secret gem on the island, almost too good to share!
