Had a week's stay in the thirlmere suite. The suite was spotless , with small but very well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome from the couple who took time to explain everything to us. New bathroom suite with bath and shower, lots of hot water.The suite is attached to the hotel and is situ ated off the main road so very peaceful with views of the lake. Small terrace to sit and enjoy the views and also starwatch. Within metres of theThirlmere loop walk around the lake, close to helvellyn , the lovely town of Keswick and Grasmere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great secluded shoreside location away from the hustle and bustle of the main Lake District honey spots. Ideal off grid location for those wanting to escape the intrusion of 24/7 connectivity as no mobile / data signal - hurray!
