We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. We had a lovely friendly greeting on arrival, our room was full of character with an extremely comfy bed and the food was delicious for dinner and breakfast. It was also extremely reasonably priced which is always an added bonus!

Quiet location even though it's just off the main road. Check in was fine until the receptionist said we were in the new block, which was out of the door and turn left. No signage showing where the room was. Receptionist should have accompanied us. Room and bathroom we're both nice and clean. Only comment we didn't like the pillows. Food in the restaurant was nice but not value for money. Service in the restaurant was very good. Stockbridge stop over for us whilst heading to Southampton.

Nice room. Good condition. Spacious. Big problem: the fridge was too loud. Couldn't sleep well. 7:30 start for breakfast is too late. 6:30 start fits my work demand. If that's too early, then offer a rate without breakfast.

Great staff, really accommodating as we needed to check in later than stated on the t&c’s. The room matched the photos. Would recommend!

Great place to stay

Lovely room spotlessly clean Nice large shower ,water provided in the fridge as well as a tassimo coffee machine and tea and milk. Dinner was nice Only negative for us were the dogs in the dining room at breakfast being a foot from our table and begging for food . I think the hotel should have asked if we minded the dogs being in the room

Ok service and breakfast was of good quality, However, the evening meal was decidedly poor. Hard, very few slices of avocado, cold toast and tomato with no hint of chilli in the dressing made for a tasteless starter. Main course (courgette and crab linguine) lacked both crab and courgette. I detected one thin shaving of courgette and if there was any crab it was invisible and tasteless. The cost of the ingredients could not have totalled more than a few pounds and cost £30 so terrible value . The room fronted the bins and was smelly and noisy = v little sleep. The TV didn’t work as the connections were faulty and possibly dangerous. The whole place needs an overhaul from top to bottom. I feel sorry for the front of housecstaff as they were all friendly and polite,

Lovely stay great location

Great hotel with plenty of parking. It’s a very short walk to the town centre & marsh land. The only downside is the price of the food and drinks, the food was lovely but I’ve had the same for a lot less money. I would still come here again. USB ports in our room. Comfortable bed. And we got a good nights sleep, as we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. We were in room 2 which is above the pub but away from the bar areas. We also had a roll top bath and a separate shower in our bathroom. The shower was large so plenty of room.

the staff were so accommodating, we were running late and they called to ask if we wanted to eat as the kitchen was taking last orders, the breakfast was excellent too. the rooms clean and had everything we needed, i would stay again.

Great service and hospitality. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, served hot and fresh. The pub/restaurant was great with a nice selection of food and drinks. The rooms were well upgraded and clean with space to spread out.
