The owners were very friendly. It is a beautiful small hotel. Breakfast was very good served in a lovely dining room. You could not see the sea. Itvwas close to Shanklin town. I would certainly recommend it.

The décor in the hotel was quirky but good. Staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. Comfortable bed. If you are an early riser the WiFi is not switched on nor is the hot water till about 6 o'clock. Shower screen very dirty. Steamer Inn, Shanklin on sea front had a very nice menu, go down in the lift and it's on the right.

The hotel was a lovely boutique hotel and we had a lovely stay. Highly recommended

What a nice place staff were brilliant all the public areas are really nice funky artwork nice decor and the room was pretty cool too decent shower nice towels b and o tv nice big comfy bed good soft linen curtains that shut out all the light quiet at night and best of all Yorkshire tea bags cheers guys will be back

Breakfast too expensive and no choice staff friendly but the shower was very poor with low pressure and hard to operate almost impossible to wash your hair bathroom as a whole not massively clean room a bit small with no chair comfortable bed and good facilities

The staff were very friendly. The bar area was very welcoming and encouraged guests to mingle.The bed was comfortable however the shower and toilet facilities need upgraded throughout. The gardens and pool area are of good size but need maintaining. The star attractions are the breakfast which was splendid and the location is ideal for all amenities

On first sight everything looked great. Funky interior in seating area near bar etc. Our room however was not up to scratch. Leftover hairs in the corners of the bathroom. Headboard and lamps not been Hoovered or dusted. Spray from other people's toothbrush not been cleaned on walls near sink. I told housekeeping and they did come to rectify however not the toothpaste spray or to my overall satisfaction. There was also a long hair wrapped in the toast holder at breakfast.

Overall experience was ok, but i'll look for something else next time. Negatives: Very tiny room and bathroom, in poor condition, could barely move around. We were put into a room at the back of the property (like an annex) although the hotel didn't seem busy at all, possibly because we were with our dog, but you'd think you get a slightly bigger room at least. Staff is polite but not welcoming, I felt like I was doing them a favour by being their guest. Positives: Close to the village, beach, restaurants/pubs. Lovely interior in reception/lobby area and nice bar.

Ok hotel . Great location. Parking worked well. Nice bar. Only one breakfast price made for an expensive option if you wanted something light - eg scrambled eggs on toast. Shower - poor, both water pressure and temperature rubbish, and when asked pretty much told that’s how it is in our room. TV use too complicated ! Pleasant enough stay but unlikely to return.

Lovely hotel, but the bedroom that we booked had a very firm mattress and pillows so not comfortable for us. The noise from the room above kept us awake. The television when we did decide to watch it was very hard to use and took a long time to work out with no instructions. The fair haired lady in reception was not very friendly. Breakfast was very good and the general areas of the hotel very smart and comfortable.

The Q Boutique Hotel - I thought that this was the QHotel chain but realised on arrival it wasnt! Having a pool and hot tub was great - made the holiday! All the furniture at the hotel was lovely vey chic! The bar area was nice. Breakfast was great! Rooms poorly decorated, BE WARNED…water pressure for the shower was a trickle, tv in room was too big as a standalone tv and was huge (need a smaller tv and on the wall). Squeaky and uncomfortable bed.
