Very nice place, great location, we had room by the road at the front so it was quite noisy but its an old building so this has to be expected. There is no breakfast and the restaurant was open until about 10:30. As long as you know about this its a great place. Ive stayed in a several places in Winchester and so far this was the best.

We will visit again.

My room was exceptional. Beautiful and tastefully decorated with lovely Japanese prints. The room was huge! with lovely chairs and a very very comfortable bed. A very high quality coffee machine. Lovely clean bathroom with an excellent shower. I cannot fault this place. Exceptional value for money. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had another great stay at Kyoto Rooms. Very good value for money and staff waited for me when I had to do a late check in - thank you! The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Only downside is that the busy road outside can be noisy in the morning if you’re a light sleeper.

This is a smart Japanese restaurant that has rooms above. Pros: the accommodation is very nice - our room was spacious, well maintained, beautifully decorated and warm, despite the single glazed window (due to being in Conservation Area probably). Really great location near High Street, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Cons: as above, the window means noise from outside. Don't offer breakfast. Overall, recommended.

The room is very spacious and clean, location is super convenient and very close to a public parking thus it’s highly recommend for driver. I’ll definitely book again for my next visit.

Great location, very central for shops, Room was lovely and clean visited end of November, room was lovely and warm, comfy bed, great price, staff polite and friendly. Will definitely visit again. Winchester is lovely place. This was my first time visiting this area plenty to see and do.

Lovely room but woken at 4.40am by bin emptying, then delivery, more bin emptying, further delivery. Barely slept.

Nice room, nicely decorated and easy check-in. Felt like cheap lumpy bedding so partner didn't sleep very weak. Was very noisy from 7-11pm, I guess from the restaurant but sounded like furniture was moving around all the time.

Perfect location right in the city center next to the historical mill from National Trust. Very stylish rooms and bath. Nice people and extra entrance.

Lovely spacious comfortable room. Very easy check in and out. Good value. Parking a little tricky and some noise until 10:30pm.

A most enjoyable few days

Hôtel très bien situé, très bon accueil ; très confortable et bien décoré . Hôtel calme mais rue assez passante, beaucoup de circulation, les fenêtres sont très belles mais pas très isolées.

Good location and nice big room, tastefully decorated. However, rather than being a hotel with a restaurant it is really a restaurant with a few rooms to let above. So not actually a full service hotel. My room was right over a roundabout so quite a lot of traffic noise. The liquid soap bottle in the shower was empty - not very convenient when you're wet before you realise. Worst of all, the wi-fi signal was very weak - maybe because it is an old building with thick walls. It kept dropping out and at times could not be detected at all. If I stood up in the middle of the room with my device I eventually found I could usually access it, but not very convenient. Given the necessity of good connectivity for travel these days, that really is not good enough. So, it is a place with good potential but they really need to do better.

5 minutes walk to Winchester High Street. Surprisingly quiet and comfortable for such a central location. Paid (reasonable) covered car park 2 minutes away. I would surely stay here again.
