Nice looking hotel. Room was clean. Probably not the best for young children as the painting in the bathroom scared them. The room we were had no bath and no air conditioning. The main issue for me was that the sofa bed was not set up for sleeping and we had to do this ourselves. This is a smart hotel so I know I understand there’s limited staff. I appreciated the breakfast in the morning. Overall it is a nice place best suited for no children or for families with older children.

Never stayed in hotel without front of house staff , but it was really easy, you get a text with all codes you need etc - the self serve breakfast had a very good choice of yogurt, toast, cereals and a great coffee machine , really sets you up for the delay - ample car parking and a stones throw from Boston market that was on the Wednesday of our stay - I would book again with no doubts

Not the worst hotel but not a great stay either and I wouldn't book again (mainly due to location feeling very dodgy for a solo traveller and overall too noisy- not a fault with the hotel itself) As advertised my room seemed soundproof from adjoining ones, but the street noise was VERY disturbing with nightclubs/music contributing to a sleepless night, despite earplugs. Then there was an unexplained fire alarm at 5am so we assembled bleary-eyed in the freezing cold car park and waited for someone to arrive (and the fire engine) before eventually being allowed back in. My sink had a draining problem and only ran cold water. Toilet flusher button was extremely tough to push and got stuck a few times. The room was smaller and more basic than images on my booking suggested and had no fridge, and grubby glasses instead of mugs (with a handful of tea bags/coffee sachets in a massive heap next to them). There was no info on my booking about breakfast (I didn't even know it was included until I read someone's review) so I had to find out myself online when/where/what it was. Nice to have it included but it wasn't great; no bakery items, no hot food just packaged bits and some juice. Understandable since it's a staffless hotel but a few small changes could've made it reasonable/ maybe made up for the terrible night. The cherry on top was that the area above the car park seems to be an airspace bottleneck for seagulls, so I left to find my car absolutely blitzed with bird mess.

This is a hotel that doesn't have any staff for entry, you call before and they text you with your entry code and room code. (This is rather cool imo) The problem is when we booked the room one of the things we wanted was a soundproof room and it was not. Every slight sounds echoed, you could continue a conversation with someone in the bathroom and we could hear the TV of next room across. The shower was angled wrong so rather than all the water going down the drain it overflowed over the guarded and the water started to stream towards the door. Now these were the reason I gave it a smaller score. However the room was incredibly clean, if you like a firm bed then that was lovely, we had extra pillows and tea/coffee in the room I would recommend staying here but only if you can get a good price deal

Instructions to get to the hotel weren't great. On arrival you had to check in on your phone entering driving licence or passport and details just to get the access code. No email or text was received and when I called the number given it said nobody was available and hung up. The hotel manager arrived as I was wondering how to get in she was lovely, very welcoming. The hotel is half renovated by the looks of it. Room was very clean and looked relatively recently refurbished. Just felt very 'hard' as in wooden effect lino floors throughout bedroom and bathroom...lots of straight lines. The bed was weird, a hard bed frame without slats meant the mattress didn't have the support needed. They really like LED lights...as they are everywhere...round the bed frame, in the bathroom round the shower...in the hallway and staircase etc...pretty tacky looking especially with the beautiful staircase painted completely gold. Location is central but there really aren't any nice restaurants or much to see in Boston. Very run down and dirty with a lot of drunk / drugged blokes stumbling about in the market square and outside the church. The hotel has potential to be lovely but whoever did the interior design needs to respect the character of the building and pull back on the gold paint and LED lights which make a beautiful old building look very cheap & tacky.

What a fantastic hotel. Location was great, right in the middle of it all. Room was great with loads of room. The room Needs coat hangers and some draws for clothes as we had to live out of our bags. Up date the blinds, apart from this we would stay again. Breakfast room was great as well, just get cups that fit in the coffee machine. The staff assisted us straight away when asked. All done through WhatsApp. WiFi was brilliant

We were upgraded to the Suite which was absolutely beautiful. Only stayed one night but loved it, if in the area again then we will return. The only down side was that there wasn't any air-conditioning but they provided us with 2 fans which was lovely so it wasn't too hot. Will recommend to anyone, parking is only £4 which is very cheap

Perfect for City Centre visit to Boston an absolutely stunning building expertly converted to a very luxurious level . Plenty parking on site at reasonable £4 for 24 hours. Rooms are beautifully designed and decorated with everything very high quality Continental breakfast including toast cheese ham yogurt fresh fruits and quality coffees.

Best hotel I've stayed in England it was excellent, room was a great size bathroom was very nice and clean, everything around hotel was great, parking was good value,couldn't be better.

Beautiful and modern hotel, very secure, very well maintained. Right next to cathedral, shops and restaurants... Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful glamorous old building with modern design rooms which feels strange but no complaints here. Check in was difficult as we had not checked in online and you need to be aware there’s no reception and a code to access is required. In addition, parking is £4.40 for 24 hours but all good. I’d definitely use this hotel again

Stayed many times will stay again. Even though we had a big problem getting into the hotel after a night out had to wait 40 minutes for some one to come out and get the main electronic doors to open. Their hotel chain seem to be good value for a night stay which we often do

Room was lovely except all the windows had condensation on them and the water was all over the window sills. Also lots of cobwebs around the windows

Lovely large warm room. Bed was comfortable. Quiet at night. The room was spotlessly clean and nice decor. Parking was easy and cheap too.

The hotel and our room was great but the lift was out of order. I didn’t like that there were no staff and the breakfast was self serve with no dining room or area to sit and eat.
