Staff friendly and helpful hotel looks recently decorated with new furniture

An excellent 1 night stay, the room was very nice and overlooked the bay which was a nice view. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent and just finished off a nice stay.

Had a 2 night stay 9-11 May All in very happy with everything The only one issue was ,I feel maybe when we booked the room ,which we did well in advance ,it should have been made clear our room was up 2 flights of stairs ,and no access to a lift. My husband was just recovering from surgery ,after having 2 knee replacements and struggled with the stairs Maybe with future bookings not only from us , but to anyone who books in the furure this should be made clear Thankyou Mrs Helen Wood

Nice Bar and breakfast was great! room spacious and with a fantastic view over the bay.

Central location lively music Upstairs ladies toilet need a disabled toilet as a female wheelchair user had to use the mens toilet Men were struggling to wait and some men had to use the ladies. GREAT BREAKFAST and £5 parking charge

Comfortable stay with delicious breakfast

We arrived 2 hours early and our room was ready. We had room 1 which overlooks the beach. Everything in room was top quality. We had no problem with the car park.hotel situated right by Ernie statue. The breakfast is the best breakfast we have had in all the hotels we have stayed in. Cannot fault this hotel at all and the staff are so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for one night in the half term break. The guy who checked us in was great, saw my struggle with the vast amount of stairs (i have a dodgy knee) he moved us to a first floor room instead of second floor! Room was clean and tidy, seemed to be newly decorated with new furniture! Great view across the sea, and even though it was on the front the noise from traffic wasn't too bad. Just a few things that could do with a little look in to are the curtains, don't hang properly and let light in! The shower is scalding hot and takes a minute to sort it whilst getting roasted! Kettle should be emptied between guests and the most important is have a mattress protector and decent pillows on the bed. Food in the bar below the rooms was great, no issue there at all! For £81 it was great value!

Lots if stairs, dont book if you cant manage them.no mention of them on the site we booked.i have copd and did not know which floor we would be on when we booked. Rooms with doors open and clothes all over. Stinks of paint as must be getting a makeover but not mentioned again when booked. Got a standared double room but its like a single room with a double bed, no room to move and no view.

The property looks good, everything is new and still in great condition. The staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and you can tell they're putting in a lot of effort to be friendly and welcoming.

Friendly enough. Breakfast wasnt served till 9am, far too late. Bed mattress was far too soft and uncomfortable.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast and large clean room. The mattress was a bit lumpy and past it’s best. Good shower. Bar and restaurant shut as I checked in around 8pm.

On arrival, young man behind the bar didn’t actuallly work there he said !!! All the staff were out at a staff party. He didn’t know what time breakfast was, I woke in the morning and found it was 9am, no use to me working!! Paid extra to park, he directed me to what looked like a small car park belonging to residential flats, I was directed to park behind another car. I asked if it’s ok as I was blocking someone in, he said “it should be” I booked an executive room, the mattress on the bed was extremely poor, and had no mattress topper to try to make it better. The pillows were poor and flat. Would I stay again? Definitely not !!

Working away for business as a female I am quite picky on where i stay. I like to give my business to non-chain hotels but after this experience if i come back to Morecombe i will be changing me mind. When looking at hotels I like there to be a restaurant in the hotel and parking either on sight or close by. When I arrived to the hotel i was welcomed with three people leaning on the bar. The place was completely dead. I wasn't sure if i was in the right place but was advised that i was. I asked if they were still serving food it was only 7pm as there was no one in the restaurant to be told that the food was off today so wasn't off to a great start. I have never been to Morecombe before and don't like walking the streets by myself looking for places to eat which is why i pick hotels with restaurants. When i got into the room it was nice however when i sat on the bed it was covered with hair. I pulled the sheets back and found more and not from ones head. I asked for a new room and they kindly gave me one. No apology. This one was clean. Breakfast was included which i like as well as i usually have an early start before meeting my customers only to go downstairs and the entire place is closed up so once again was let down. I picked this hotel as it had such amazing reviews and came highly recommended. Have to say i was highly disappointed.

Great stay. Easy check-in. Free parking. The manager (Jamie) ensured that we were well looked after. Great breakfast. And dog friendly.
