The worst hotel we ever been ,hotel fro hell we just went in and out didn't stay was insects in the room , smelly carpet, mold bathroom etc

Helpful staff, very basic rooms but it's cheap. OK for one night stop overs. Breakfast included for £54 can't go wrong.

I liked the sea view. I liked the friendliness of the staff and that they listened to my requests. However my room was too small. The TV plug only just reached the wall socket. The kettle and bedside light had to sit on the floor because I couldn't plug them in otherwise. There was no bedside table. My room was not made up between the first and second nights. My toilet seat snapped off and was unusable. There was not much choice at breakfast, marmalade and only one choice of cereal.

No working lift and we were on the top floor. Entire hotel in need of upgrade. Double bed rammed into a single room. Not what we would expect to be advertised on your website

Room was not visited by the staff during my 3 night's stay. When I asked for clean mugs and tea and milk, this was not carried out

We saw the owners only twice, first time at check in and once when water started leaking into our room from the room above. The room was clean enough but as with the rest of the hotel, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shame really because the hotel is right on the sea front at the south side of Morecambe. Breakfast was okay but limited, the guy doing the serving was brilliant, making sure everyone had their tea/coffee/toast and keeping everything topped up. Parking is a nightmare, there is free parking 24/7 but getting a space is near on impossible, i managed to find a spot about 200 yards from the hotel on the first night but after that i had to park with the motorhomes about half a mile up the road. The promenade is nice and wide and level but it's a fair old walk up to the main part of Morecambe where all the café's and bars are. Okay to visit for a day or two but, in my opinion, not the best place on the west coast.

The room was a little small for a double room one side was pyshed up to the wall so getting in and out was a bit of a problem. But for a couple of nights it was fine and the breakfast more than made up for it good choice and help yourself, heard some people complain but no idea what for. All the staff we delt with were all very friendly and helpful so when we need a couple of nights stay happy to go back to the Clifton

The staff were conspicuois by their absencr and the room facilities were badic withbonly one tea cup and no glasses - no good for taking medication. Also the TV was unusable.

I had the end room on the top floor so it was quiet the view was to the rear of the property so no sea view but that didn’t matter to me… as for the breakfast well that was so much more than I expected and basically as much as you can eat … good strong wi-fi signal… and the main thing for me was the price of the stay … I would not think twice about staying there again

Photos on Hotels.com looked lovely however the hotel itself is in a desperate need of renovation. Dirty carpets and horribly marked wallpaper. Thankfully it was for only one night, otherwise we would have mived locations

I was really cold with a thin duvet and no Extra blankets and no heating . I am an elderly man and couldn’t get heated up again. Very cold Staff were top notch friendly helpful and wanted to be helpful

Place was clean and tidy. Was on 2nd floor and stairs were very steep. Staff were very good just at wrong side of morecambe for what we wanted

The hotel is in need of some refurbishment however it was clean comfortable and had everything I needed for an overnight. Great breakfast and excellent value for money.

Brilliant value for money with an excellent breakfast

The buffet hot breakfast plus cereals, toast and croissant was very good. The view over the bay from the breakfast room was appreciated. We paid for a room with a sea view and it was a good view. The room had a smartTV which not only enabled us to watch live TV but also catch up with programmes we had missed. Our room was on the top floor and was not really big enough for the king size bed that was in it- ok for one night. The hotel has great potential with a bit of TLC and a refurb, not unlike Morecambe itself.

Lovely friendly staff

The room was disgusting, blood stains on mattress, hole in the wall underneath the window, the only good thing about the room was the view. Also polystyrene tiles on the ceiling which is a fire hazard, I phoned the hotel up today and he told me that is the 2nd best room they have so god knows what the other rooms are like, stay clear of this place.

Bed was clean & comfy thankfully, breakfast was decent. Property in need of refurbish & a deep clean in areas.
