Hotel Normandy er en sand perle af et hotel i Vernon. God beliggenhed, meget venligt og serviceminded personale i både reception og restaurant. Værelserne er ikke store, men er ellers ok. Nok en af de bedste morgenmadsbuffeter vi har oplevet i Frankrig gennem årene, ligesom der også er lækkert mad på menuen til aftensmad. Rigtigt godt hotel at tage på udflugt ud fra (fx Claude Monets hus og have)

Pænt rent værelse, god beliggenhed og super fin restaurant. Personalet talte godt engelsk og var framragende til at oplyse om de ting der var i nærheden.

The rooms were clean and tooked like they were recently remodeled. the bathroom was large and very comfortable. The petit dejeuner was fresh, delicious, with an attractive presentation.

Hotel at great location in Vernon which is a nice little city.

Nice hotel. Parking very nearby. No air con but supplied fans.

Pas de climatisation. Nuit à 30 degrés

Pas de climatisation en période de canicule. Des climatiseurs portatifs qui sont en réalité des ventilateurs mis à disposition. Et l’agent d’accueil qui entre dans la chambre sans toquer pour déposer des pains de glaces en étant au téléphone. Très limite heureusement que j’étais habillée. Pas d’eau et de frigo à dispo en cette période de forte canicule.

A lovely well appointed room in a pretty town near Giverny. We were sad to only have a short night there so we couldn’t try the spa or restaurant.

There was no air-conditioning in our room. I booked the hotel based on the understanding there was air-conditioning. The desk clerk said there was only air-conditioning on the third floor which was sold out. The staff did provide a fan and lots of free water. Other than the heat, the hotel was fine.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil. Chambre propre et confortable. Au calme. Proche du centre.

Das Normandy ist ein in die Jahre gekommendes Hotel, das sicher schon bessere Tage erlebt hat. Es war ok, sauber, aber allenfalls durchschnittlich und den hohen Zimmerpreis nicht wert. Die Lage ist erstklassig. Das Parken war günstig.

A great spot in a charming town in France. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean. My only negative was that it was a heat wave in France during my trip and while there was a fan in the room, there was no Air Conditioning, so it was very hot.
