Review: Misleading listing and lack of transparency The room itself was fine for the price and cleanliness was not an issue, but several important details were misleading or not disclosed upfront. The listing stated that laundry facilities were available on site. After booking, I was told that guests are not allowed to use the laundry themselves and instead must pay staff to do it for them at a cost far higher than a nearby coin laundromat. When I asked directly if there was a laundromat next door, staff repeatedly pushed their paid service instead and would not provide the information. I later discovered there is a laundromat right next door. I travel light and book accommodations specifically with laundry access in mind, so this was a significant issue. There were also racks of laundry hanging in common areas, suggesting no dryer, which is inconvenient when staying only a few days. Additionally, when we arrived, the lock on our door did not work. We were told it would be fixed the next morning, but we had an early tour booked and did not feel comfortable leaving our belongings unsecured in a hostel. Someone eventually fixed the door for us, and the staff member who helped was very kind — this was not her fault — but the situation itself was stressful. The TV did not work, and air conditioning required an additional charge, which was not clearly disclosed in advance. Half the place is being renovated, staff is intolerable, and then they looked to kick us out for not paying extra cash. Save yourself and don't stay here

The room was cozy and comfortable. I’m glad that my stuff were all safe while I’m outside.

Communication great around checkin. Friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, no outside interruptions. Other guests could be more considerate during the night / early morning, perhaps signage staying "quiet hours" might help? Room lovely, handy location for the city. Travelled alone, felt safe in apartment and surrounding area.

Room was clean ,wish air conditioning did not have to be paid extra for, good location

La propiedad se encuentra en buenas condiciones, la habitación era pequeña pero funcional y el servicio de limpieza es muy bueno. Es complicado compartir dos baños para 5 habitaciones pero por lo demás todo estuvo muy bien.

The person who welcomed me into the building was absolutely lovely, helpful and so welcoming! The space is a room inside a five bedroom apartment with two pretty nice bathrooms and the kitchen with everything you need to store food and cook for yourself to save money on a trip. The bed was comfortable and the worker came back in the middle of the stay to change my sheets. The owner was also really helpful giving directions.

I stayed at another room earlier in the week and things were great. By the time I had to change rooms, the lovely worker who welcomed me the first time was replaced by a very rude worker who would bring her boyfriend with her and he would leave trash and food everywhere… she gave up cleaning the place and her and her boyfriend went into one of the rooms for a bit. When they were done doing “whatever they were doing” she left without finishing the cleaning until the next day.

Nice clean accommodations for a reasonable price! Wonderful neighborhood one block off of the Rambla and a 25 minute walk to most anywhere you’d want to go. Bedroom was very comfortable - do splurge the 10€ for AC in warmer months though! As more of a “guesthouse” style lodging with shared bathrooms your mileage may vary - if we’d had rotten neighbors it definitely would have impacted our stay. As it was though, we didn’t have to find out - it was a fine experience.

Not a good experience they charge you for a later check in before 11pm on our arrival even though we informe them thru Expedia message also be aware that they charge 10 euros for air-conditioning and bathrooms are separate to share and of course not clean at all, Tv did not work in general there is better places for the price around that are better overall .

Cleanness was okay, rooms are poorly soundproof, quality of bed was good, location is central & nice!

Ressemble davantage à une expérience dans une auberge de jeunesse avec chambre privée. Très minimal. Nous avons attendons l’hôte 30 in. Manquait de papier de toilettes.

Me encanta todo limpio y en orden

The location was fantastic, close to many attractions. My flight got in very late and they waited for me and were available to check me in very late. Communication was clear and easy. The Place was very clean, bathrooms were very clean. I would stay there again.

Supportive staff

Enjoyed the property only downside was the air conditioning, we had to pay 50 euros for it it and it hardly worked other than that it was good

Overall it was a pleasant stay
