Clean room, friendly staff, easy checkin/out, great continental breakfast

Downstairs, the hotel looks amazing but the rooms are very dated. No aircon,just a fan ,no fridge and no water provided

Its not a refrigator or mini bar in the room. So this can not be more than a 2 stars hotel. The rooms need to be oppgraded.

Pour son charme suranné la visite vaut le coup L’hôtel à 100 ans mais visiblement rien n’a bougé depuis Pas d’eau chaude un matin Très Mauvaise insonorisation. J’avais une chambre en face de l’ascenseur qui faisait un boucan d’enfer. Difficile de dormir. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre

The hotel has incredibly helpful staff, a good breakfast, and a great bar.

Staff was exceptional!!!! Unfortunately the owner of the previously stunning property hasn’t made any improvements to make the hotel comfortable as you would expect from any basic hotel in the USA or any modern country. It lacks many basics like consistent hot water, air conditioning- did not work, room had a very loud plug in oscillating fan which drowned out any conversation you may have. Wood floors so rough I got splinters in my feet two different times even while wearing Socks. Bottom line, if you only stay here to sleep and for the location it may work for you. But if you get uncomfortable in humid and warm stagnant environments then maybe choose something newer and fresh

Lovely common areas and interesting to experience a piece of Peruvian history (lots of famous people have stayed there). Room was large and clean, but needed a major renovation. Staff friendly and helpful. Free drink tickets and a piece of birthday cake for my son. Ten minute walk to main plaza. 15 minutes to monastery and catacombs. Made-to-order breakfast had minimal options and mediocre food. Elevator broke down, so had to carry our heavy suitcases down three flights of stairs.

The classic 1920s vibe was cool.

Cadre exceptionnel, ambiance parfaite, service et disponibilité au top. Juste quelques petites remarques: L'écoulement de la baignoire ne se fait pas Le rideau occultant ne se ferme pas et pas de volet Absence de "pain français" au petit déjeuner.

The location and architecture of the hotel

Great location in the heart of Lima. Plenty of tourist locations close by. Also very hip area at night with many bars and night clubs close to hotel

Room was nice, bathroom mirror was dirty and shower was rusty

Beautiful grand old hotel but a bit run down. My suite was above the restaurant, and loud music blared until late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. Wonderful restaurant and helpful staff.

If you like hotels of yesteryear, this hotel is amazing. It could be the best hotel in town It has no central heating, the Windows are old so no Sound Isolation. If breakfast is included its ok, if you need to pay for it, there are better places
