Lovely twin room with good shower in ensuite. Excellent kitchen/common room area with lots of cooking options - oven, microwave etc. Sofas for groups to relax. Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed. Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the property sent out check in instructions by text, email etc on the day of arrival

Clean, warm and accommodating

Excellent clean modern room . Excellent check in. Fridges and cooking facilities all areas extremely clean would definitely stay again if i am in the area

We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Our room had the most comfortable king size bed of our vacation. We enjoyed being able to utilize a kitchen separate from the room. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The owner Tony, was very kind, friendly and helpful. Thank you for the lovely stay, we hope to come back one day.

The room was smaller than a typical hotel room, but was clean and everything worked as expected. There is a common room with cooking supplies. The only complaint is that it's difficult to find food in Swalinbar, but that is unrelated to the hostel. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is a lot to do.

Nice place clean and quiet

The quarters were clean, roomy and new - large kitchen and lounge facilities and the manager went out of his way to make sure we had a room that would suit our needs.

We had a lovely overnight stay .. it was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding attractions .. the beds were comfortable and had tea, coffee and cereals available in the common room and a small cafe next door

Great find, super friendly staff, really clean and well finished, kitchen area had all items you'd need for self catering. Very budget and family friendly. Great place for a getaway when you need to get away from it all - enjoy an authentic rural Irish experience without breaking the bank. Would happily recommend and return.
