Price was right, overall clean, would stay again

Good location. Room was clean. Good WiFi. Nothing fancy but good enough. No luggage storage but there are cheap options for that near by.

Cheap hotel, late check-ins and checkout is way too early… the bathtub/shower looked very suspicious and the comforter smelled like it was unwashed. Smelled like sweaty hair.

I chose this hotel because it was one of the most affordable options in the area, so I wasn't expecting luxury. However, I did expect basic cleanliness. The positives: the staff allowed us to check in early, which we appreciated. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, and the room included a microwave and a small refrigerator. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious housekeeping issue. It appeared that the bed sheets were not changed before our arrival, we only noticed it on the second night because we came in too late the first night. There were visible hairs on the sheets that did not belong to either of us. We reported it immediately, but the front desk told us that no clean sheets would be available until the following morning because housekeeping had already left. As a result, we had to sleep that night on bedding we believed had been used by previous guests. The sheets were replaced the next morning, but this should never have happened. Housekeeping was also inconsistent in other ways. We arrived to find the toilet paper roll already less than half full, with no spare roll provided. No washcloths were available, and towels and toiletries were provided very sparingly. The building is old, there is no elevator, and carrying luggage to the fourth floor through narrow staircases was difficult.Overall, this hotel may work if your only priority is finding a very inexpensive place to stay. However, clean bedding and basic supplies are not a promise.

The staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The security of the hotel was great. We felt very safe during our stay. The room was okay-with all the essentials. It was clean but everything was worn out. The bed headboard was clean but had some brown stain. The shower had yellow stain. The air conditioning unit was very clean with minimal dirt/dust but blew a musty smell. Overall it was a decent stay for the price.

A perfect definition of the expression, “You get what you pay for.” The entrance and lobby made me wonder what I had booked. The room was okay and served its purpose. From what I saw and read in other comments the property is going through renovations. The room I stayed in had new flooring and was recently painted.

The location is excellent and very convenient. It was nice that I could watch YouTube on the TV. However, regular TV channels were not available. I was also disappointed that there were no tissues in the room and no bathtub stopper.

No parking. Not many shops around. Clean room. Nice staff but limited availability.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room is clean but not spacious. Even though it is called a hotel, it felt more like an upgraded hostel. If you are looking for just a place to crash during a short stay in Montreal, this would be a great option.

the check-in process was easy and the location is perfect. it was a small walk everyday towards the center and super quiet at night. only downsides was the interior of the rooms. it wasn’t too dirty, more so outdated and needs renovations. other wise the stay was nice!

Was not able to tell from the nice room photos that this is basically a glorified hostel. Flyers about "do/don't" are plastered all over the place, cameras around every common area corner as well. Staff were courteous for sure, but the place felt a bit run-down. I did have a clean bed and a hot shower- my own essentials, so I made it work.

Stay away from this place. The room and the entire building smelled dirty and poorly maintained, even though I saw two people cleaning the hallways. The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. I hope this review helps others avoid staying here and choose a much better place instead.

The room was perfect for what I was looking for and the cost was appropriate. The room had everything I needed and I slept well.
