Place was neat and tidy.

We had a wonderful time at Waddington Flats. The flat was well equipped, centrally located, very clean and the roof top patio off the bedroom was a big plus with nice view of the harbour. We would highly recommend the flat for short or long term stays. The location is a short walk to shopping, points of interest, transit bus stops and city indoor parking.

Chinese theme room was available for the four days I needed accommodation and was good. Easy online check in with codes provided. Nearby parking in Yates Parkade was fine. Would have liked more comfortable seating to relax in suite at end of day.

Great place and location

It was alright

The bed was comfortable and the downtown location convenient. While the unit was small, the full kitchen allowed us to cook our Christmas dinner. A few concerns... The unit seemed rather grubby and in need of a sprucing up. The living room rug was stained and the dark paint had many chips. The over stove light was burned out and we couldn't find a cutting board. Our main concern was having no blackout blinds in the bedroom and having to deal with the bright alley lights illuminating the bedroom.

The rental unit is clean and very cozy, its is very nice of them to provide free coffee pods. Although i spent almost a day drying my small batch of laundry using the laundry machine. My suggestion is the plates should be changed into a microwaveable ceramics instead of those china melawares, i am glad i brought my Anchor hocking food container with me. Overall it was a good experience staying with them.

Everything is very good. The place is clean, everything is working, decoration is lovely. If you have a problem, you can reach someone to fix it. Except the check in time is too late, 3 pm. If the check in time is 1 pm, I would give 5 stars.

This was the second time we stayed at Waddington Flats. The room was clean and had all the amenities we required. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Room as pictured on the booking site. Perfect location downtown. Clean. Nice little kitchen for doing a bit of personal cooking. Everything we could have asked for. Old building so footsteps did travel from the apartment above, but it was still really quiet, and we did not hear any "noise from nearby club" as listed in other reviews.

Dirty kitchen, dishes, food stains on fridge and floor. Unfortunately no response from host when I sent a message. Broken bottle open and door won’t latch shut on washer/dryer in order to do laundry.

Location is great and walkable to dining options and sights. The kitchen is well stocked and the garden/design suite includes a small but welcome view of the harbour. Good option for a longer stay.

Great concept of flats in Waddington Alley! I think the 2.5 star rating does it a disservice, it’s nicer than that. We stayed in the Garden Room, and it was quite cute! The experience reminded me of staying in New York. We did have a few little things around check-in that were easily remedied, likely due to booking through Expedia as a third party instead of directly. No matter! Was all dealt with easily and the staff was super responsive! I do feel like the unit we stayed in could use a bit of maintenance. It was clean, but there is a loose floorboard in the kitchen, the shower caulking is black and in dire need of replacement, there were no garbage bags in the bin and the glasses were all pretty dirty - obviously cleaned but not well. We also had terrible noise transfer all night long from a party (or something) going on in the neighbouring building but these buildings are all pretty old and that’s just something no one can control. For the price it was still 100% worth it and the location is great. While there is no parking, the Yates parkade is super cheap and free overnight and on Sundays (at least cheap to those of us coming from Vancouver!)

Dirty room, no staff and no clear way to get a hold of anyone to clean it. The balcony had no view. The room we ended up getting was not the one in the pictures when I booked the room.
