Great staff

Hotel La Pau, is a small very beautiful hotel, right where you want to be, for a visit to Barcelona. Close to the water and Gothic area and 100’s of small restaurants and shops. Also convent to cruise ports. The staff is very welcoming and anxious to help you in anyway. The rooms are very comfortable and we would 100% stay here again

Personal super freundlich und bemüht, schon vor der Anreise. Bad war leider nicht sehr gründlich gereinigt. Nur oberflächlich aber noch ok. Frühstück hochwertig inkl. a la carte Auswahl. Kaffee-Vollautomat beim Frühstück entspricht nicht der Erwartung solch eines Hotels. Da muss eine Siebträger-Maschine her. Auf dem Niveau erwartet man einen ehrlichen guten Espresso oder Cappuccino. Lage 10/10. Wir würden wieder kommen und können es empfehlen.

This hotel is an oasis in the middle of an overly overfished touristy part of Barcelona. The staff is exceptionally attentive and cares about its guests. Francis at the front took the time to communicate with me via WhatsApp (which is really convenient; they empower all staff to contact guests this way). He knew exactly who we were when we neglected to communicate we would be late after missing our original planned train from Madrid to Barcelona. He gave us a glass of Cava and a snack, and explained the Honour Bar to us. When he heard us say we were hungry he promptly got on the phone to make us reservations at a really beautiful restaurant inside a museum by the water where he knew we would get the most stunning view of the skyline. He also got us a complimentary drink at the restaurant. Angel at the front desk also took care of my family when they dropped by to order tapas and drinks in the rooftop terrace. I was afraid we'd be bothering other guests but everyone was so nice. Most other patrons we chatted with were very friendly but never held us hostage in conversations. Classy. Love this place and would stay here again.

Detta hotell skall ha 5 stjärnor Helt fantastiskt personal och vårt rum som var en junior svit var av högsta betyg så som sängen /frukosten som var superb vi är så himla nöjda kommer absolut boka detta hotel vid nästa besök i Barcelona. Rekommenderas varmt . Stort tack till alla personal.

Unbelievably helpful, friendly staff. Great rooms with very comfortable beds and so quiet, even in a street facing room. Could not have been better. We have found our home from home in Barcelona.

Expensive hotel but you are steps away from Las Ramblas and across the street from both of the hop on-hop off bus tour options, so it's a great location. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very personable. They have a luggage storage locker to leave your belongings before check-in time. The add on breakfast was very good as well.

Great experience will recommend to everyone. If I had to come here again I would definitely do another stay here.

Stayed at Hotel La Pau and absolutely loved the experience. (much better then other 5 star we stayed earlier in Barcelona) The entrance itself gives a premium first impression, and the staff were extremely helpful ... especially Tom and his colleague, who made everything smooth and welcoming. The hotel has an amazing vibe with beautiful interiors and a very stylish, sexy layout. The room was incredibly spacious with a true luxury feel. Everything looked brand new ... from the furniture to the linen ... all very fresh, spotless, and maintained to perfection. One thing I really noticed was the amazing fragrance throughout the property and the fact that there was literally zero dirt visible anywhere. Amazing location as well ....just love that. Only 2 minutes from the beach and La Rambla, which made everything super convenient and enjoyable. Also loved that there are amazing Indian, Thai, and Lebanese restaurants nearby too .... one of the best locations to stay in the area. The honesty bar in the lobby during late hours was also such a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, so can’t comment on that, but overall this hotel delivers a fresh, expensive, boutique-luxury vibe that I would happily recommend. GO FOR THIS ONE!!!!!
