Nice hotel with beautiful view. Locate near supermarket and train station

Very fresh breakfast, staff were friendly and great. Just few minutes walk to the bus and train station.

Excellent location away from Hallstatt

Room is new, well equipped and spacious. With very beautiful mountain View. Staffs are very nice. If the room door can be improved to close softer, it will be perfect.

It was a great location, our room was spacious and clean with a king-size bed and the view from the window was gorgeous. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The breakfast and the coffee were excellent. Our only negative was that there's no lift.

The room was spacious and clean, the balcony provided a commanding view of the mountains, and the staff was incredibly helpful and delightful.

I was horrified at the condition . I had already paid but left anyway to find another room. I did find another room nearby thank goodness but was prepared to sleep in my car instead of the dirty hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE

Great to stay. It’s closed to the train station. I have stayed 3 nights with my friend. Staff was very kind.

Our stay in Obertraunerhof was great! The gentleman who checked us in was very kind and helpful and was always working to make sure guests were satisfied! The rooms were also spacious and it was not far from the train station!

Very quiet location. It’s about an hour to walk to Hallstatt but the scenery along the way to Hallstatt is gorgeous. Good breakfast! The only complaint as an Asian is that we could not find hot water to make tea the first night and breakfast did not start until 8am. As an early bird Asian, it’s inconvenient but they put the kettle at common areas on the 2nd night. :)

very bad hotel

The room was enormous, but not very clean and so dimly lit that I had trouble reading. Desk clerk showed up at 2 PM to check me in, then disappeared until the following morning. Stairs had worn, ripped carpet. Obertraun is not a good place to stay if your goal is Hallstatt as the first boat to Hallstatt is around 11 AM and the last boat about 4 PM. It's a 5 km walk from Hallstatt to Obertraun. Sidewalks rolled up at 6 PM in Obertraun, so there is nowhere to eat dinner.

Замечательное место для неторопливого отдыха, уютный просторный номер, прекрасный вид из окна на горы. Завтрак скромный, соответствует количеству звезд отеля.

Nice price and okay breakfast. Clean and very big. Parking is limited but okay. Beautiful place to stay close to views and lovely town. Sound proof is just okay, but acceptable.
