Very nice and. friendly

I just wanted a simple hotel to come back to after driving all day. No remote for tv, forgot to ask in the morning before leaving for my day trip. Got in late, managed to get Tv on and on a channel, but next night there was a Samsung update message that required the remote. then went for a shower…nearly got severe burns from the tankless water heater as it doesn’t seem to work properly (hot is cold, and apparently cold is hot and extremely dangerously hot. Nowhere to escape to as the shower is smaller than a phone booth, luckily got it turned off. Ironically, went to shave, no hot water at the sink. Housekeeping doesn’t seem to be very thorough, a few of the milk containers for tea in the room were opened prior to my arrival and left sitting there. Sounds like birds in the roof??? Radiator was needed my final night, but again, doesn’t seem to work, why would it, there’s no hot water. But the biggest issue, WiFi provided but doesn’t reach the rear building I was in. 3 nights no tv, no internet, no heat, worst hotel I’ve ever been in. “Breakfast” provided is cereal and fruit.

Run down. Bed uncomfortable. Pillows flat. Towels scratchy. Fire alarm went off at 1 am for no reason. Breakfast was just ok. Staff seemed friendly although upon checkin reception didn’t seem to speak English. Made it hard to ask questions. Wouldn’t stay again unless I really needed to save money.

Basic but clean and safe. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal for breaking a journey. Good value.

Staff great helpful,room big enough bed bit uncomfy but for cost of it then I shouldn’t complain really ..everything was ok except not being able to get a drink as it only serves non alcoholic beverages lol but there’s a M&S garage just 5 mins down the road .overall experience was ok and I would recommend going as it was a bargain for the price
