I booked my stay with breakfast included. However, when I arrived for breakfast on the morning, I was told that only a continental breakfast was included, and that I would have to pay extra for a full breakfast. This was very misleading, as one of the main reasons I booked this stay was because I believed breakfast was included as stated in the booking. The booking information did not clearly state that only a continental breakfast was provided. Although the staff apologised, I was still charged for the full breakfast. I don’t believe this was fair, as the confusion was caused by the incorrect or unclear information provided at the time of booking.

Clean and comfortable room. Good shower, lovely bedding. There was no remote for the tv so had to manually change channel, bedside lamp but no plug socket to use it. Breakfast was good, ample enough choice for continental.

Good single room in this inn for a traveller at reasonable rate. Great basic breakfast, pay a bit extra for cooked stuff. Lovely friendly staff. I loved the bar atmosphere, a hub for locals and for Welsh singing and music-making (at weekend, when I was there, at least.) Good Celtic kind of "craic".

The room was clean, parking outside the hotel, and the staff were helpful.

Rude staff members, room falling apart. Would not recommend at its current price very disappointing end to my roadtrip.

Great for my work, very nice Staff and nice continental breakfast. Single room & mattress was ok, albeit could do with a revamp, overall a nice stay.

Nothing really around but , it’s above a pub. Small carpark and if you come back after 6 you will struggle to park. Shower was temperamental and we asked for more milk but didn’t get this until after we’re asleep. It was left outside the room. The free breakfast is a small continental breakfast. Neither the less, still nice. You can buy a full breakfast. If you’re looking to Climb Snowdon, which we did, it’s a good 45 minute drive away. But if you want to get your head down, it’s the place to stay.

Clean room & Friendly staff Old (antic) furniture, missing pieces from bathroom, noisy fan in the bathroom. Window... that is not an window, couldn't keep the rain out, it was windy outside and inside, the window isn't fit for purpose. Everything was low quality. The owner invested a penny maybe 10 years ago in that room.

Very welcoming place to stay. Dog friendly and good bar choices. Excellent base to explore all of North Wales.

Everything about this place was good. From the vibe, to the staff etc.

A warm welcome, clean and basic but ideal for a budget friendly stay if you’re walking in the area.

Our room was nice, clean and bright with a large window facing the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. However check in was late at 5pm with an early checkout at 10am. No breakfast or lunch option due to being out of season and no fridge to store any food over night. Great for walks but anything else you need to travel out by car.

First room I had, had an issue with the door, staff immediately swapped my room! Staff were very kind and helpful, room had both a fan and electric heater which was perfect. Great food, nice pint selection. Excellent location.
