The hotel was a lovely place the food amazing everything was as promoted and brekkie outstanding I will stay there again

A building full of character, good food, great staff and one of the best pints of Guinness I've ever had, and I've drank a few from all over the world. A very well sized full English breakfast sets you up for your day. This will be on my list of 'will go again' places to stay.

Incredibly helpful and polite staff. Advised us where the local walks were and other things to do in the area. We have stayed on many pubs but this is as good as it gets. Many thanks.

Excellent, clean and comfortable bedroom. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and worked hard to ensure that we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding!

Everything was ok. Rooms where clean, however, lacked some basic's, breakfast was not served till 8.30am. Bar was nice, and outside area was very good and large. Food was ok

Full of character - friendly welcoming staff. Great comfy four poster bedroom. Lovely fresh pub food and a wonderful hearty breakfast. A lovely beer garden so peaceful in a picture perfect village.

Lots of character, authentic, old inn. Good parking on site at rear with nice garden to sit in. Nice ambiance overall. Staff competent. Evening meal - we had the hake - was excellent. Good breakfast. The double room we stayed in overlooked the main street. It was sufficiently quiet although it was smaller than we would have liked. Satisfactory for one or two nights stay, and at the price point very acceptable. Would not rule out staying again if in the area.

Room was clean, staff helpful and accommodating, English cooked breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

Yes, lovely locally sourced produce, we chose the venison pie for lunch, delicious, would recommend, meat platter later in the day, tasty too, “ off the hook ale “ a great ale and others to choose from. Breakfast hot, good choice, local produce and perfectly cooked, the comfort room was comfortable for our one night stay, no issues, lastly the staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for you, nothing too much trouble, a special mention to Jess also and the rest of the team such a relaxing beautiful place to stay, we will definitely visit again, also this is a perfect location if you are visiting the Cotswold Distillery as only a few miles away, Well Done to you all…Andrea & Carl

Quiet location in a pretty village near the church. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed, and the bar and restaurant were very welcoming.Excellent dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the very poor wi-fi connection in the room.

The George was so quaint, the fireplace was so warm and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. A good selection of drinks in the bar. A great base to see more of the Cotswolds

The staff was so lovely there, making sure everything was ok. The only reason i didnt give 5 stars, the room we stayed in was drafty and you needed to wrap yourself up a bit in bed. Could with double glazed windows. The food was lovely though, breakfast was lovely to.

Excellent value overall with helpful staff and a nice, clean room. Also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and a drink by a welcoming log fire.
