Breakfast is good, nice and quiet location

An ok hotel for one night. Car park is spacious but hampered by inconsiderate parking. Reception staff functional rather than friendly and restaurant staff more rude than efficient with the waiter being somewhat shocked I wanted to see the amount entered on the card machine before swiping my card. The hotel is however clean, spacious and well appointed albeit the restaurant is decorated to create a noisy environment and would benefit from some sound deadening.

The provided fold out sofa bed for our son was far too hard. They were unable to find a mattress, so he had to sleep in our bed, it was crowded! The shower holder was loose so when the shower was running the water sprayed up the side of the cabinet, I did ask them to fix this as it just needed tightening, but returned later to find it hadn’t been done & our son had a 2nd night in our bed.
