Ideal central position for getting around. No onsite staff. I expected the accomodation to be basic but was disappointed with several aspect however I don't know if they were representative of all rooms. Gaps in flooring, no tea towel, lights turned off every 30 mins, tv stored on top of cupboard (it would have been nice to use), stool was too tall to sit at bench and extra pillows would have been nice (only 1 each supplied and very thin). Bad communication tainted the whole visit-had to wait at train station, on phone with hotels.com, for over an hour before finally getting check in/ key collection info. For check out got 2 contradictory instructions so had to contact.

Several maintenance an cleanliness issues

Good spacious rooms good build and convenient. Right in the city centre. Only draw back is number of fire doors. Old unnecessary fire safety regulations means you’d hear bang after bang at night for each person getting in or out. You’d be at mercy of your neighbours closing them behind gently. Sad that fire safety in this country is so much of inconvenience.

The property was clean and felt like home. The staff communicated promptly and were very kind and helpful. I Loved that there were numerous shopping options within the immediate proximity. Would definitely recommend.
