Really modern and lovely hotel, perfect location (central but on a quiet street)

Rent och fräscht, rymligt rum med liten köksdel. Trevlig personal. Bra läge för att promenera till de flesta sevärdheter i staden.

They allow dogs but not cats and we travel with our 2 dogs and 2 cats since 2002 without damage to property as well behaved, dogs stay in baskets always. We were surprised as cats even stay in Paris, all over European 5 star hotels. Otherwise lovely place and people.

We had a wonderful stay - the 1 bedroom apartment was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend and we will be staying again!

Soooooo good! This hotel is located perfectly for the central colleges and river. It’s also a very short walk from Park & Ride bus stops if you come into the city using P&R. The communal areas are great with lots of food and drink options, plus plenty of seating. Lovely vibe in there. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept very well. There is a modern clean bathroom and well equipped small kitchenette. Highly recommend for a trip to Cambridge.

Very nice hotel well situated, car parking is a major issue , underneath the hotel is a council run car park, to park there for 24 hours would cost over £50 per day and trying to charge your car for electric vehicles is a joke no Wi-Fi poor signal, the car parking is empty. That are only criticism.

We stayed for one night only but brought our dog and were very happy with the customer service, the amenities and especially with how well the staff treated our pooch! Would highly recommend this - with or without dog - and the location was excellent. A park nearby and the city centre within walking distance, just outside the hustle and bustle.

Staying at the Wilde was a wonderful experience. Really nice, friendly and helpful staff, everyone person there made me feel at home. The room was comfortable and had everything you'd need. I really liked the lobby/eating area. Good food and a nice place to just be and relax. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were amazing , so helpful and friendly. We really felt looked after. We also enjoyed lunch and breakfast which was very tasty and nice quality. The rooms were great with super comfy beds and a lovely kitchenette including everything you could possibly require. Its a great location close to a river walk and the town centre. We can't wait to visit again.

Great stay at this hotel, good location for exploring Cambridge. Staff helpful and rooms a good size and nice ensuite. Would recommend.

Booked this for my daughter visiting her brother at nearby Jesus College. She loved the room and the location was perfect!

Great spot- right in the centre of town. Room was comfortable and great to have ability to cook simply and make breakfast. We had the basic room and there was enough room for sleeping but not too much lounging for the 3 of us. Be aware of the high parking costs at the next door car park! Only downside was the size of the brakfast sandwich- 2 tiny slices of sausage and 1 slice of bacon in a bun for £13!

The location is excellent, close to the centre of Cambridge and an easy walk to all the main sights. We enjoyed our stay, the staff were all very helpful but you could tell everything was a bit new, the staffing levels and stock levels let them down on a couple of occasions so service was occasionally very slow, and they ran out of some food items (pastries, flatbread etc) seemingly quite early. I’m sure these are teething problems and I look forward to coming back once the service is a bit more mature…

We really wanted to like Wilde Cambridge. On paper it has everything: brand new, nice design, central, good rooms, and a genuinely thoughtful concept. Unfortunately, the experience was a real letdown because the service simply isn’t functioning at the level the hotel positions itself at. The first sign came on arrival. We were slightly early, room wasnt ready, which was understandable, but then waited over 30 minutes in the lounge just for a scoop of ice cream. When we got to the room, the child’s bed hadn’t been prepared and towels were missing. Not a huge issue in itself, but part of a pattern. Later I tried to iron a shirt and immediately noticed a horrible burning smell. The iron plate was covered in burnt sticky residue and damaged my shirt. Reception’s response was essentially just “we’ll replace the iron”, no apology, no urgency, while I spent 30 minutes trying to rescue the shirt. After staff later moved furniture to prepare the child’s bed, we discovered smashed chocolate and crisps on the floor, untouched by cleaning. Breakfast was nearly an hour wait for food, dirty tables everywhere, and multiple reminders before anyone cleaned one. What made the stay frustrating was this constant feeling of chasing basic things, waiting endlessly, and repeatedly asking for service that should happen automatically at this price point. Oscar Wilde said: “I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.” Sadly, our stay felt very far from the best.
