This is our trusted Montreal hotel, we come back every year. Comfortable, clean and great location

We chose this place for the location and it largely met our expectations. Be aware: there is no parking at hotel and do not park overnight in outdoor lots in MTL. The two groups ahead of us had issues getting their rooms (something about needing to do extra cleaning). Once our turn (~20min), we were given our room with no issue, but a little annoying as this could have been done electronically (they just give you a door code). The room was clean and everything worked well (we used the washer dryer, but none of other appliances). A little frustrating how they cheap out on the small stuff — only two super thin towels that shed all over you, conditioner was actually just another shampoo… they did provide a detergent pod. So my advice: bring nice towels, shampoo/conditioner and plan indoor parking (we used the one across the street from the Maxi).

Room didn't have a working air conditioner on a hot day.

Overall our experience at the Cove was good! We had some challenges with our room code and then another incident happened that required us to move rooms but in both instances, the staff was great at accommodating and communicating !

The check in is always a problem

Communication with staff and check-in was very smooth, communication was always prompt when I had questions. The room was not as cozy and fresh as it looks online and it was not very clean. I had to ask for our carpet to be vacuumed because there was dirt on it. The cutlery drawer was full of crumbs and there were no towels for drying dishes, or wiping up counters. Right before we left I saw a sleep mask between the mattress and head board that did not belong to us. My car was also stolen while in Montreal overnight, so I recommend not leaving your vehicle over night. The staff did let us leave our bags so we could get our rental car and did answer any questions we had, however not the usual customer care you would get at a regular hotel. Content and happy with features, but disappointed as well.

Cool room..convenient access to lively area such as food, drinks , entertainment . Will stay again when taking a quick run to montreal .

It was good that the room was equipped with a washer and dryer. The kitchen was a good addition too. The kitchen, however, could have a larger pot with a lid, and the frying pan or wok could also have a lid. I wished that the room would have regular cleaning too as the floor being dark in colour, collected a lot of dirt over time. The in room air conditioning was excellent. The staff at the reception desk were also very helpful.

Terrric place all around.

We could not have asked for a better location. The king sized bed was comfortable, super clean and had everything we needed. Would have been awesome to have coffee sugar and cream for the coffee but there are some great cafes right outside. There is parking near by and fairly reasonably priced - $45 for three days. Would definitely stay again.

This is not really a hotel. It's a building that's been converted into studio apartments that are rented out short term. The apartment was large and modern with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There were a few little problems-a towel shortage and a broken window shade that could only be opened a few inches. There is a 24-hour receptionist in case of any problems or needs. But there are no hotel services of any kind. BUT, the on-line registration process is complicated, confusing, very arduous and completely unnecessary. The registration could easily be done at check-in. Also, it was not possible to communicate with anyone at the property before check in. '

Rooms were clean, service was excellent. Perfect location.

On a adoré l’hôtel. La chambre était très belle et propre. On avait tout ce qu’on avait besoin. Par contre, dans notre chambre il n’y avait pas de séchoir à cheveux. Bref, on le recommande fortement et on aimerait ça y revenir!
