Clean rooms, friendly staff, within walking distance to the Parliament building and the waterfront, lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Parking gargabe felt safe and secure.

Room was clean, staff were friendly. They allowed me to check-in early and gave me an upgrade.
The location is right at the centre of all the action. Restaurants, bars, shops. There was a lot of city noise though. Vehicles, construction, drunk people late at night. Im used to sounds of a big city so I wasnt bothered but it might not be for everyone.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing.
When I checked in, I was told that I could check out at 1 pm, and there was no explanation about any additional fee. However, on the day of checkout I received a call saying that I would need to pay $80 for a late checkout. I explained that I had been told 1 pm was okay and that no extra charge had been mentioned, but I was still told that I needed to pay.
Paying $80 for just one hour of late checkout felt quite expensive.
The room was also quite cold, and the hot water was only lukewarm during my stay.
I think clearer communication from the staff would help avoid this kind of confusion for future guests.

Great location but very old building and rooms. Room looked onto interior atrium of building which is dirty and has bright lighting all night long. Room layout is awkward. Carpet appears to be original. Bedding is lumpy and uncomfortable. I would pass on this hotel if you have other options.

Nice clean room. Great location. Nice amenities. Shower was only warm for about 2 minutes then was freezing cold so that sucked. I just needed a place to crash for the night so i really didnt care but if i had kids i may consider somewhere else
