We love this old hotel. We always get a river view and it is so worth it. Beautiful calm scene out your window and you can walk to everything! Shopping is onl a Block away and your car is parked safely underground! Great place to stay!

Room was clean and staff were very friendly. You had to go to the hotel on the other side of the parking lot to use the pool and restaurant facilities which was slightly inconvenient. Great location though you could walk to anywhere in downtown.

There is easy access to ski areas via free buses to all of the big three areas. Also, this place is located right in the town so you can walk to virtually everything. The only thing you can't walk to is the hot springs in the gondola which I believe have a public bus to as well, however the hot springs has been closed for months.

The room condition in F2 is poor. There are lots of holes in the curtains of my room. The freezer door is broken. The carpet is dirty, and the wallpaper in my room and the walkway are also in terrible condition.

Great staff. Very helpful. Clean room. Great location. But the room are small and outdated. The heater rattles every time the train passes. This is very annoying when your sleeping. Also, water pressure on the shower is low.

Location was perfect
. On the Bow river and only 2 blocks to downtown or walk to where ever you want to go. Room was adequate and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Underground parking provided was an extra bonus.. only complaint would be, the TV was extremely small. But how much TV do you watch on vacation? Lol

Easy access to the highway that leads to the ski resorts. Location is great for walking around downtown Banff. Nice to have the amenities shared from Banff Park Lodge.

Hotel next to Bow River & short walk to Banff Ave ( dining & shopping ) also short walk to train station. Check in was quick & professional. Room was a good size with large bed, separate sofa & table/chairs. Decor is older style & room in good condition. Amenities included drip coffee machine, refrigerator. There was a microwave available in common area on the floor (3rd) & there was coffee/tea & water facilities in the lobby. Happy with my stay at Bow View Lodge & well suited for my visit to Banff
