Breakfast was poor. Mediocre coffee. They had cold boxes prepared. Would be nice to have just a little something better, warm croissants, bacon, eggs maybe. Instead a cold hard boiled egg, muffin from a factory and other items you can buy at a pharmacy in the 'food' section. That was disappointing. The location of the hotel is great, and the man at the front desk told some pretty good dad jokes ;)

Not very clean lots of hair from previous room users, mysterious fluids on the fabric walls. The duvets they have are just between two sheets so I'm guessing there's no get changed between people and are in contact with their bodies. Good location. Bantu box breakfast was better than some continental free ones. Central location of course. I got a good deal on a Sunday night so was acceptable but if I pay a lot of money for this room I would not have been happy.

Rooms were spotless, little breakfast room bright and air, staff very friendly and helpful. We were having trouble getting my husband’s walker upstairs to front lobby but staff came. immediately to help .@

Room appeared clean but needed updating, wallpaper was coming off the walls. There was a musty smell in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful, boxed breakfast provided was quite nice. Nice people, good location, but rooms required work, I was disappointed because it looked much nicer in the pics.

Staff at reception are friendly and helpful, parking with in and out privileges is convenient, free breakfast box is plenty and nourishing. Location is so central. We have stayed here several times over several years and always enjoyed our stays.

NO PARKING , NO BREAKFAST

Parking across the street in the municipal parking lot was safe and i could see my truck from my room. My truck was too big for the underground parking. I like the variety in the breakfast box, everything was delicious. Thank you Christi Hall

Good location. Good place to stay for a short quick trip.

Look elsewhere if you can. This property is also a residence / clinic for the less fortunate who crowd the front of the building for smokes TV cable is poor at best without a guide or channel chart printed Breakfast is a box lunch. Very nice staff who are trying to keep a smile.

Excellent location, clean and a good value for the spend.

The hotel is a bit dated overall, though the elevator seems newly updated. Staff are friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The highlight is definitely the location, within easy walking distance to the lakefront, City Hall, and Princess Street with plenty of shops and restaurants. Lake view rooms offer spectacular scenery, and the beds are very comfortable. On the downside, soundproofing is limited, and noise from neighboring rooms can be noticeable. The bathroom is quite basic, with no towel rack (only two hooks behind the door), and toiletries are minimal, just a small bar soap and average sample size shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast is simple but enjoyable, provided as a grab-and-go lunch box with hardboiled eggs, a muffin, cheese, apple purée, juice, yogurt and coffee tea. Underground parking is available for a fee, but spaces are tight, and access can be inconvenient, there’s no elevator from P2, so you’ll need to use stairs or go via P1. Overall, a comfortable stay with great views and location, but a few practical shortcomings.
