Cleaningless before ariving in my room It was not done properly. I fouund a long piece of black haïr. No brush aside the toilet bowl for general use.

The hotel was very well kept, and the staff was very helpful throughout my solo trip to Montreal. The front desk gave great recommendations on things to do and how to get around. It’s not a fancy hotel, but it got the job done. Breakfast was simple with muffins, yogurt, coffee, and a few other items, but convenient before catching the uber for my morning flight. The location was better than I expected (I wasn’t yet familiar with the “right areas”) and was easy to get to Old Montreal, Downtown, Chinatown, and Plateau Mont-Royal by taking the Berri-UQAM metro station (about a couple blocks away) or just by walking. The area felt safe. I’d definitely stay here again on a future visit!

Excellent location, was one block away from a central subway station Was not a fan of the fact that they did not clean our room every day - they did the first day when I was there doing work, however, the second day they did not and said that it was because I wasn’t there, which is weird considering that the other room in my party was cleaned and had towels replaced when they were not there

Shower made a loud squeaking noise when your turn it on. The slides were carpeted but dirty/ dusty it triggered my rhinitis right away, Door did not lock on the inside.

Great place for a short stay. Cleanliness in the bathroom was subpar, old pieces of paper were scattered under the sink. The sink and tub drain took ages to properly drain. Common areas arent clean, and the staircase was full of trash. Rooms were perfectly fine overall.

My stay at the Econo Lodge was great! Firstly, if you are considering staying here understand that it is a budget hotel on a street with many other budget hotels. Across the street is a parking garage that appears to be indefinitely under construction. I have read some other the other reviews and they are laughable. The street is not sketchy, the rooms are old, but they are clean. The staff that I dealt with were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. This is not a 5 star hotel, it is a 5 star budget hotel!

El hotel en si es ya viejo. El desayuno, muy básico. Una mañana no había café y eso es imprescindible. Las habitaciones bien pero muy mal ventiladas. Limpio, pero por las noches se escucha mucho de fuera.

The AC was not working. It's a centralized AC. Our room was really warm. We asked them to check but still no use. Like in the middle of the night they will send someone to checked the room. They provided fan which is way too noisy. We can't sleep comfortably. If you open the window, it won't help either cause it's also noisy outside. We stayed there for 4 nights. We asked for room service on the 2nd night to freshen up the room. When we got back from strolling the city, they just remove the garbage and provided new towels. The beddings is still the same cause the stains were still there. Pillow cases dirty with hairs. Floors still have food crumbs. And the location of the hotel, it doesn't seem safe to walk at night. They have free breakfast which is good. But the breakfast area needs attention on cleanliness. The drip trays for juice and coffee seems they never wash it. It's really gross. The photos on the website was deceiving.

Room was small and clean. No frills but no issues either. There was no maid service during our stay. Breakfast had cereal, toast, yoghurt, muffins, oranges and apples. It was enough for our kids to get filled up.

The breakfast menu was fresh and had many options available. Check in was smooth and checkout as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave good tips for travelling as well. Thank you to Christina for guiding on travel. Hotel room was organized and well prepared.

They had a cold breakfast, bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee, milk. Parking was on the street.
