We came from Taiwan and stayed a few days in Vancouver. The reason why we chose this hotel is its good location which is near Lions Gate Bridge and therefore close to Stanley park and downtown. In addition, the hotel service is definitely good. In particular, there are several staffs who speak Chinese and are very friendly toward Taiwan people.

We came from Taiwan and stayed a few days in Vancouver. The reason why we chose this hotel is its good location which is near Lions Gate Bridge and therefore close to Stanley park and downtown. In addition, the hotel service is definitely good. In particular, there are several staffs who speak Chinese and are very friendly toward Taiwan people.

You get what you pay for. Very standard in every way. Nothing fancy. Room is standard. The heater was very noisy though. I only stayed here since I had a late night medical appt in the city and couldn't catch a ferry home. I would stay here again if I needed to stay at a place for cheap due to another appointment. But I would not stay here as a vacation.

The positive is that the beds were comfortable. The staff was overall decent and nice. Breakfast was not very good ,the condition the property was a complete. It has structural issues. The floor was sloping and the walkway was sloping. While the room was decently clean the furniture and overall condition of the room was very worn. It took a very long time for water to get hot. It is not a hotel. It is a motel. I imagine that the folks that raided at a four or whatever have very different standards than myself.

Staff was excellent, but the property was questionable. There were what could only be described as blood splatters on the back of the bathroom door. We didn’t make a fuss as it was late, there were no other acceptable options available nearby, we were only passing through after a long flight, and by the look and feel of the property condition, it is doubtful that any other room would have been any better. The beds seemed clean so we went to bed, were careful not to touch anything and quickly left come morning. Let’s only hope we can all forget about it now…
