Broken AC so room was very hot

Room was clean, staff helpful and overall a good experience. However the bathroom lightbulb was extremely powerful and hot (like 250 W). Consider swapping them to something energy-efficient.

we were there for 4 nights and we're e trembling uncomfortable. When we arrived the clerk said it was warm in the room but they put a fan by the window. I didn't think too much about that until we got to the room and realized the two little windows were open about 8" and the fan was trying to blow some cool air inside. so hot and still in the room. and no a/c. The garage cost extra and the spots were all for very small cars. we asked for the room to be cleaned up and garbage to be removed etc. one day and they did that but never even made the beds or dusted the furniture. the inside of my nightstand drawer was very messy with.stains. don't stay there or you will be disappointed

Staff forgot to write down that we were scheduled for a shuttle drop off at the ferry station. Otherwise very nice, accomodating and the property was clean!

Great location.

No air conditioning and no parking

The shower head in our room was more like a leaking garden hose than a shower.

First off, the hotel had no air conditioning. I’ve genuinely never stayed at a hotel without AC, so it never even crossed my mind to verify that before booking. Unfortunately, that became a major issue because Victoria was quite hot during our stay. To make matters worse, the windows had no screens or safety protection. If you’re traveling with a child, opening them feels unsafe, and leaving them open also invites bugs into the room. Cleanliness was mediocre at best. The sheets appeared clean, but the bathroom was extremely dated, and both the floors and walls looked grimy throughout the property. The facilities were equally disappointing. The entire hotel operated with only one elevator, which was constantly overcrowded and painfully slow. The “gym” could barely qualify as one — tiny, no air conditioning, and only a couple pieces of equipment. I don’t normally use hotel pools, but if my child had been old enough to swim, I would not have felt comfortable letting them use this one. The pool area looked just as dirty as the bathrooms, if not worse. For the price, this experience was completely unacceptable. We paid over $400 CAD per night with taxes and booked two weeks in advance, so this was far from a budget stay. On top of everything else, there wasn’t even a vending machine available for water, let alone snacks or food. I will absolutely not be returning. I hope this review helps future travelers make a more informed decision.

The property is clean, well maintained and an short walk to the Harbour area with lots of things to see and do. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is to get rid of the Coffemate and get actual cream for the coffee in the lobby.

No need for additional services or parking

Location :Good , very close to downtown Staff: Friendly and responsive overall did a great job there are some minor problems about the building itself, overall functional but feel old, maintainance is so-so.... low power toliet flushing.....need to flush more times in order to say bye bye to your own poo poo.... I will still consider it for a 1-2 night short stay.

Aslong as you aren’t a jerk this place treats you with respect and is very accommodating

This is a decent, inexpensive hotel close to the harbor, so that’s a plus. Staff at front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Another plus. However, I was really disappointed with the “gym.” The online photo makes it look bigger than what it actually is; essentially a closet with a bike, one bench and a rack of dumbbells, and with a very low ceiling. Literally only two people max can be in there at a time. Also, keeping the in-room coffee bar stocked was a challenge. I had to ask for refills. The room gets made up on day 3, and I’m fine with that, but please don’t leave a large bottle of toilet cleaner on the sink.

Shower head could be cleaned with CLR. Had calcium buildup.
