No phone in room if needed heating very poor . Front dest could do with another staff member on for checking in

Very satisfied

Only the entrance looks nice and then you get on the lift and it all goes downhill from there. The lift buttons didn’t work to select certain floors. The smell of the hotel just smells weird and old. Couldn’t open or close the windows, it was just stuck open, I was freezing and there wasn’t even any heater or radiator to turn on. It says every room has WiFi but I had zero connection, and even to use my own data was terrible because me and my partner only had one bar signal. The iron board was dirty and burnt, toilet holder literally just fell of the wall like I paid £320 for 2 nights, you’d think it would have some decent room with decent functions. Like the only good thing about this hotel is how it’s in the centre of Liverpool.

We were worried after reading some of the reviews on here but the triple room we booked was clean and spacious. The bathroom was modern, if a little broken (toilet roll holder and toilet seat were both loose!). There aren’t enough plugs in the room and no mirror, which made it difficult to do our hair with straighteners. The breakfasts were ok. Tinned fruit, no fresh. Bread for toast was very thin and obviously not expensive however there was plenty of cereal selection and the hot food was checked and replenished as necessary.

While the staff were nice, the hotel itself is dated, cold and just creepy. The beds creaked so badly and were lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower was lukewarm at best and with a bathroom with no heating, it’s takes bravery to use it. We have up after the first night and booked into a cheap Travelodge which was everything the Adelphi wasn’t

a bit dated, bathroom had no proper curtain; only see thru one; otherwise ok a good atrium , really needs a roof clean tv- was in arabic - could not get it in English - absurd for this in the Uk ! staff were friendly ; I got charged for breakfast for a 12 year old - lady serving stated it was meant to be free !! make of that what you will

The room was ok, the kettle had limescale in it and left white chunks in my tea... The window also wouldnt close fully and the wind was whistling through the gap all night.

Our twin room was clean and comfortable, of course it could do with a little bit of updating but for the price I was really happy with our room and would definitely stay there again. The staff were also friendly and courteous too.

Room was clean. Shower unreal. Never had a bad stay or bad room here on second or third floor. Staff great. All good

Stort och fint rum, liten frukost

The room was spotless, but keeping it that way was on me--there is no maid service, something I had never experienced in a hotel before. The room was old and tired but adequate. The public spaces are elegant and comfortable, pretty much as in its heyday decades ago when it was the top hotel in town. The breakfast was excellent, though probably not so much for a vegan. The service was spectacular. One staffer walked me to the train station in inclement weather and helped me on the train. I would stay there again.

Good location and clean room

Personalet var meget søde og hjælpsomme, dog har hotellet seriøse rengørings problemer. Vi skiftede standard værelse 3 gange, fælles for alle var der mug, 2 af værelserne havde hår og pletter i sengen, 1 værelse var der ikke skyldet ud i toilettet, hår i badekar og bruser, tandpasta rundt om håndvasken osv. Værelse er ikke som vist på billedet, meget skuffende. Til sidst valgte personale at give os et værelses opgradering til en delux/premium værelse som var meget fint, her så det ud som billederne og vi fandt intet mug, osv. hovedpuden havde pletter men den skiftede de til en ny ren. Generalt meget bedre oplevelse og vi havde slet ikke klaget hvis det var det første værelse vi fik.
