Hotel is convenience and rarely free parking nearby Center of Liverpool One (10 mins walk). Famous fast food shops (McDonald and KFC) just located opposite to the hotel.

Breakfast was very nice and topped up regular. Parking was free and very secure. Room was very clean. Staff very polite and helpful

Hotel fine but the beds and pillows very hard.

The hotel is in a great location, about a 15-minute walk from the centre and close to bus stops. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The rooms are quite basic and the bathrooms are pretty small, but it didn’t bother me. We stayed over a weekend that seemed especially busy, as accommodation across town was quite expensive. This was one of the more affordable options, so while it felt a bit pricey for what we got, it was probably in line with everything else at the time.

Rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate and comfortable for 2 people. Ensuites are "pods" installed in the rooms and so are small but useable. Staff are all excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and hot food was hot, not lukewarm as in so many other hotels. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time though we did experience very brief "outages" in our room. Location was perfect, situated on the edge of Queen's Dock, with rooms on one side of the hotel overlooking the waterfront, very close (easy walking distance) to many of the museums and attractions in the docks and city centre area. One HUGE bonus: parking is on-site and free! And because of the hotel's proximity to so much of Liverpool's attractions, there's no need to have to use a car to get anywhere, unless you want to! We chose to visit some more distant areas, e.g., Aigburth and Ormskirk, since Liverpool was where my wife and I first met over 50 years ago and these were places special to us and where we lived at the time. As an EV driver I was particularly pleased to have charging points available in the hotel car park, and at a very reasonable price when compared with "common" public chargers, 59p per kWh, up to 22 kW. Overall an excellent short break!

Always a very pleasant stay at The Dolby. Clean, comfortable and staff are super polite. We always use this hotel when visiting Liverpool.

Very enjoyable stay at this quiet hotel walking distance from Liverpool centre. Pleasent view from the room window of the dock and river. Free parking. Friendly staff.

Does exactly what you want for the price. Good value, simple, clean, friendly, free parking all day and walkable to city center. Will use again.

Nice little spot rooms clean breakfast lovely staff very friendly

The room was clean, small but adequate. Bathroom quite small, shower really small but ok. Breakfast was a serve yourself buffet, cereals, juice, teas and coffee. Bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, tomatoes, beans, mushrooms, toast. Or croissants, yogurts etc. Very nice and the dining room overlooks the water. 10 minutes walk to Albert Dock, 20 minutes to amazing shops.
