Our arrival in the early evening met with 2 very friendly members of staff on reception. A quick & easy booking in procedure with all our question politely answered. Our room was clean & tidy with a beautiful view over the marina. If any criticism the double bed was small but like the shower/toilet facilities ( compact but functional) The dining area/bar was clean and tidy with a lovely view and outside seating overlooking the Marina. The food across the board was from Breakfast to evening meal well prepared, hot and a good size. Again the price for someone only wanting cereal & coffee was overpriced and could be reduced. The cooked breakfast had excellent choices and was good value for money. A special mention fir Alan the Manager. Whilst being an Everton supporter ( I am a Liverpool supporter) we had several laughs. Alan is a great character and it was obvious from talking to the staff he is greatly respected and loved by them. From Alan through yo all those members of staff we met they were always smilling happy to chat and gave us many recommendations on places to visit and see. Sadly after 3 nights at the Dolby it was time to go home Fond farewell and happy memories will stay with us. A huge thank you to Alan & all the staff. You are a credit to the Company. This hotel is perfect if all you want from a hotel is somewhere clean, convenient and friendly to stay while you visit the area or attend a conference at the nearby ACC. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate, breakfast is better than expected, free parking and genuinely friendly staff.

The rooms were clean and well equiped. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good and drinks were well priced. The price of accommodation is excellent for what you pay for it. We could not find fault with anything. Location of is really good. Close to everything. We will definitely go back. 🙂👍

The hotel was fine apart from a tiny bathroom. I am small so I managed. A larger person would have really struggled in the shower! Despite this I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is comfortable,food was very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and serviced each day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking and hotel is close to Liverpool attractions so no need to use the car after we arrived The only criticism is the shower and toilet is very small and no wardrobe to hang clothes, but apart from that very good and we will go there again.

The rooms are clean but very small. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in one night and the food was fine but the menu was basic. What let this hotel down was the ensuite"bathroom" which is similar to a shower cabin on a ferry - very small, compact and not pleasant to use. I suppose this reflects the value for money price we paid. Not one for us, would not return.

Room was ok shower room? Was tiny. Impossible to get a good wash in the shower as every time you tried to move you knocked the shower off. You need to be stick thin to use it. Staff friendly and helpful. Drinks for a hotel were a good price. Bit of a walk to the center but helped you get up a thirst. Unfortunately because of the shower we will not be using this hotel again.

Brilliant staff! Very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was basic but so was the price. Everything was clean. It's designed for a budget couple of nights stay and it's brilliant to do exactly that . Location to town is very walkable. Would definitely stay again. Free parking is a major bonus.

The hotel is comfortable,food was very good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and serviced each day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good parking and hotel is close to Liverpool attractions so no need to use the car after we arrived The only criticism is the shower and toilet is very small and no wardrobe to hang clothes, but apart from that very good and we will go there again.

Free parking at hotel, a big bonus. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room and hotel Barry clean. The room size was adequate, but the shower room was the smallest I’ve seen, anybody above average size may have difficulty using it

The rooms are clean but very small. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in one night and the food was fine but the menu was basic. What let this hotel down was the ensuite"bathroom" which is similar to a shower cabin on a ferry - very small, compact and not pleasant to use. I suppose this reflects the value for money price we paid. Not one for us, would not return.

Room was ok shower room? Was tiny. Impossible to get a good wash in the shower as every time you tried to move you knocked the shower off. You need to be stick thin to use it. Staff friendly and helpful. Drinks for a hotel were a good price. Bit of a walk to the center but helped you get up a thirst. Unfortunately because of the shower we will not be using this hotel again.

Sadly Dolby house didn't have a lift, but the very helpful woman on reception carried my case up to the second floor. Staff we all very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant staff! Very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was basic but so was the price. Everything was clean. It's designed for a budget couple of nights stay and it's brilliant to do exactly that . Location to town is very walkable. Would definitely stay again. Free parking is a major bonus.
