Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Exeter. Special thanks to the hotel manager and one of the hotel staff members for swiftly taking care of the air conditioner issue; despite ending up being wet in the process you both have handled the issue with grace and kindness.

Fab hotel

All good fir the price...the steak was overcooked and the toilet needs adjusting as was running dripping all night but everything else was good

Room was clean, only complaint is when requesting fresh milk when checking in they said they would charge me £6 to bring that, after a long drive from London I just anted a cup of tea! Had to get my shoes on again go down to an empty reception and bar area with staff just hanging around which felt a bit lazy and odd. Other day the staff at breakfast where very nice and accomodating. Other days

Everything was very nice and clean. Our room smelled wonderful, like fabric softener. We would especially like to thank the cleaning staff. My humble suggestions would be not to use a shower curtain and to provide a toilet brush. The location was also very good — the hotel was very close to the exam center, and there were cafés and markets nearby where you could find breakfast and coffee early in the morning. Thank you for everything.

All good clean room nice staff

The hotel and room were very clean. The food is excellent, as good as we had when eating out at restaurants in Exeter, if not better. The staff are all great, very helpful and friendly, that also makes the hotel stand out.

Good room. Would have liked a bath. No gym or fitness center on site would would been appreciated. Staff are friendly and quick to response with issues with telly. Breakfast was good.

Great room

Room and breakfast were ok however staff attitude was far from satisfactory The staff at the Leonardo hotel were frequently inconsistent and unhelpful. Doubtful about their professionalism and different staff repeating themselves. They were unable to connect a call to my guest over the room phone and relayed inaccurate information across. One staff cited faulty communication equipment thus necessitating an unnecessary journey in a storm.
