Great location for our trip, 5-10 minute steady stroll to the Tower Hill tube station, great being so close to Tower Bridge to wander around the area at night to see it all lit up. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. (Concierge from Manchester sorry forgot your name but fantastic service and nice to have a chat with) if I had one point to mention it would be the spa area, great size pool and great to have sauna, spa and steam room but all were rather colder than I like, spa and sauna especially but that wouldn’t stop me booking here for my next London trip. In fact it’s highly likely I will rebook here again.

We have stayed there for 3 days while the room and surrounding were acceptablly tidy but facilities and response from staff were disappponting. No one told us al the fridge were not working until we asked for, both hairdryer were not working and we need to get it replaced, 1/3 days did not clean our room. Finally, everytime we rang up for help with the above, service desk was not particularly responsive and there was once, thr guy cut me off

The AC didn’t work properly and it was noisy. Plus the Telephone didn’t work - it was all crackly. It took ages for anyone to answer the phone and I tried all the options. I eventually got through to room service and the person said that I had a problem with my phone and hung up the first time. Thankfully when I checked to find how long it would take for my club sandwich it was going to take 45 mins which was very slow. If I had not asked the room service woman wouldn’t have said how long I would have had to wait. Thought the device was poor.

Returning guest but left disappointed. Room was nice but welcome fruit bowl had been sitting for ages... all dried and shrivelled. Would've been better off with nothing. Didnt get access to the Executive Room despite having the Expedia Tier status and the pool has become very run down... fountain, rainshower and ice bucket shower all now out of action; gym also off limit due to damp or water ingress. Reception was still good, breakfast remains one of the best on offer but just left feeling underwhelmed. Would hate to see this hotel continue a decline.
