Lovely accommodation with a good choice of food. A bit limited on spirits but overall a great place to stay.

Great breakfast and lovely statf

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, our room was nice and clean on arrival. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area were just what we needed to have an hour to relax in. Kaleb at the bar was really friendly and professional. We would stay again if in the area.

Room for improvement. Seems to be understaffed.

Don't expect to stay in the main house, you will most likely be allocated a double room in the garden wing. This though not externally impressive is similar to a Premier Inn in layout internally. All staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was okay, can be busy so you may need to queue in line. Restaurant i can't comment on as this we didn't use, bar snacks available from the bar

Hotel grounds and building grand… bed rooms tired need a refurb, carpets crawly… bathroom clean and had been refurbed. Room was not serviced. Staff at reception low energy. Staff at breakfast much better, buffet breakfast average …. Bacon left to cool in sauce pan with fat accumulating … consider ala carte it could have been so much better …. Overall 2 nights served its purpose but was expecting much more so disappointed

The room was clean and had helpful friendly staff. The accommodation was very nice and well designed. Loved the library.

X was a beautiful stay, but room service left door open, not happy

We felt hotel was very tired. Room 312 was OK but smelt “fusty”, shower took 5 mins to warm up but never got suitably hot.

A lovely place to stay with beautiful grounds and atmosphere within the hotel. The restaurant was particularly good, a really lovely menu with some more adventurous options as well as conventional choices, and beautifully prepared (and served). The Italian garden is wonderfully calm and charming.

Lovely weekend at Milton Hill the place is lovely and clean although a little worn. The staff were extremely helpful and the food first rate. The spa area was ok but really needed more chairs or lingers as there was nowhere to put your towels while in the pool or jacuzzi etc. it would have been nice to have something to sit on while not using the facilities as there was only 3 tables and six chairs. Apart from that it was great.

Good stay. Definitely recommend. The sauna and steam room was small not not many people can fit in.

The hotel was ok but the floorboards in the bedrooms creaked badly, breakfast wasn’t served until 8am at the weekend. We wouldn’t stay at this hotel again it’s not value for money.

Absolutely amazing hotel breakfast amazing!! One of nicest breakfast I’ve had in a hotel… staff very helpful have to say a massive thanks to I believe the housekeeping manager who went above and beyond for me lending me hair straightener thank you

We had an overall pleasant stay, largely thanks to the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. When we first arrived, our room was unfortunately in need of maintenance and a refresh. The walls appeared quite dirty with visible handprints, the bath had signs of rust, and some of the wallpaper was peeling. However, when I raised this with reception, one member of staff in particular was exceptionally accommodating, she moved us to a cleaner room without hesitation and also kindly arranged a late checkout for us, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful building with lovely grounds. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you directly to Oxford, though it takes about 1hr. The pool and sauna area were lovely and quiet. Breakfast had good options available, and we were especially pleased that the kitchen provided vegan sausages to accompany the cooked buffet. Just a short walk away is a charming little farm where you can see Highland cows! Also just down the road, is a pub called The Pack Horse which was absolutely lovely, and offers a vegan menu. Housekeeping was generally good, although on a couple of days our dirty cups and mugs weren’t cleared, which was a bit frustrating. The main downside for us is the overall lack of maintenance in the rooms. While the service and setting are strong, the bedrooms are in clear need of repainting and general upkeep to bring them up to standard. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you!

It was a comfortable bed but lacking in other areas. After seeing the picture of the hotel it was disappointing to find our room was not in the main hotel but the garden Annex. This was an unpleasant looking concrete building detached from the hotel and quite a walk in poor weather. Also we were left with only one 2 even though it was a booking for 2. Also we were convinced that we had chosen the package with breakfast but it turned out this was not part of it. So I cannot comment on the food.

Struttura bellissima ma solo le stanze più costose stanno nella struttura principale. Il resto stanno in una struttura esternamente non bellissima ma internamente moderna e pulita

Food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. At breakfast, there weren't enough staff so took a while to get a table.

Clean room, staff are lovely, breakfast very good choice. Grounds are great.
