Good hotel, room very comfortable and excellent breakfast.

We had a lovely one night stay. The room was basic but clean. Breakfast was great-a good choice of food. Tea/coffee stations around the hotel were a real bonus. The communal areas were well kept. The only negative was that the pool was quite a bit cooler than expected. We still used it though.

Stayed one night on our way back home from Oxford and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed our stay immensly. Breakfast was excellent, as was our evening meal in the restaurant. Staff were extrenely friendly and helpful, particularly Ellie, Isabelle, Zak and Maddie in the restaurant. Room was very comfortable.

Staffs are amazingly kind and breakfast is delicious :) I miss the garden in front of the breakfast place.

Very convenient for Oxford

Lovely over night stay. Nice breakfast, nice pool, nice staff and decent price. No complaints here

The hotel is lovely, however, could do with some TLC. All the staff were fab, especially Amelie and Connor in the restaurant. Evening meal was gorgeous, fresh, tasty and well presented. Breakfast was awful as all the 'hot' items were cold and the sausages did not seem to have been cooked, still translucent through the skin. The deluxe double was good, although could really benefit from a little TLC.

Good food good service, comfortable room

Potentially a lovely hotel, needs an upgrade, room fine, poor shower. Hotel staff friendly, restaurant looked ok but food was poor in the evening.

room was a bit dusty and window latch is broken Awful bright blue flashing light from a bit of equipment under the desk cause disturbed sleep. Such a stupid thoughtless thing to have in a room.

Staff were helpful. Comfortable. Annex was quiet. Breakfast was good Room seemed to lack central heating. Radiators seemed to be off and electric heater was supplied.

Nice hotel but the shower wasn’t the cleanest with some hairs on the floor, there wasn’t hot water and the WiFi didn’t work

Clean hotel and friendly staff

Room was spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds and great breakfast.

Shower was basic, and it was not easy to comtrol water temperature. Restairant mediocre.

Everything from check in to check out was excellent. Room was clean, if a bit small but suited what we needed for 2 nights. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Place is a maze but lots of quaint areas to sit and relax with loads of local books around. We didn't use the leisure facilities but they looked lovely.
