Good view. Quiet. Clean.

Room just next to the door leading to the carpark, so noisy when people in/out closing the door; while window was at the back of a car parked, could not open it for some air circulation

hotel is relaxing and clean.

住宿地點離火車站步行約20分鐘。雖然自助式早餐品項不多，但是感覺精緻。走路20分鐘左右可到達主要的餐廳街和超市，餐廳街有各國料理、價錢也很合理。

Bath room not working well.

Love the communal area when there’s a few of you travelling together. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and everything works

Clean neat and tidy and convenient. Free parking outside overnight 1800 to 0800

Staff were lovely on check in. The shower was poor quality, the beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise from other guests. The rooms seemed to be clean though.

‘Okay’ perfectly sums up Peter Scott house. Parking, check-in and breakfast are all at the neighbouring and much more appealing, ‘look at what you could’ve won’ Edgbaston Park Hotel. You’re then directed back across the road, with your luggage, to Peter Scott House. Having to unlock the front door with your room key (not key card) was red flag number one. The building is very similar to a military block, with old carpets and creaky wooden doors. The rooms are quite noisy with very thin walls. You’ll know every time your neighbours turn on a light switch or decide to flush their loo. The decor of the room itself is okay, but the bathrooms are very small and dated. All of this can be excused at a low price point, but at £140, I’ve stayed in much, much nicer accommodation. As a one night, business need, it’s functional. If you were staying for leisure, I’d spend the small amount more and stay over the road at Edgbaston Park. You’ll be walking over there for your breakfast anyway.

Lovely staff and facilities. Room was spotless, bathroom a little tired but perfect for a night away.

Despite what is listed on Hotels.com free parking is not on site, it is based at the Park Hotel. Fire alarm went off several times during our stay. The corridor had a distinct smell from smoking which was rather unpleasant. Bathroom was very dated and not in a good state.

Great place to stay and very convenient. Very clean, just slightly older bathroom furnishings but the shower was new and powerful, so amazing value for money.

We found it met our needs, and was better than expected having read reviews.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Peter Scott. Nous étions à quelques minutes à pieds de l’université et facilement accessible en bus depuis la gare (X20,21 ou 22) Le Check-in se fait à l’hôtel principale (Edgbaston Park Hotel) qui se trouve de l’autre côté de la rue principale, c’est également là que l’on prend le petit déjeuner. Tout le monde était adorable et accueillant. La chambre était confortable et très calme. Nous avons eu un souci avec les toilettes qui a été réparé immédiatement. Assurément nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel si nous devons revenir à l’université de Birmingham.

Had to go find reception 7 minute walk away. Not helpful. Parking was difficult to get free after 6.

A bargain- not flash but clean, comfortable and well presented

The receptionist at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and warm. The location is perfect for staying near campus. Not a bad price either.

I rated it overall at 5 stars but if posible I’d give it 5and a half stars since the issues are easy to fix. There were a few cosmetic issues in bathroom (eg cracked base of shower) and the shower head itself needs replacing or fixing because it occasionally gave spirts of cold and hot water. But it was a still much better than other rooms we’ve stayed for a similar price close to the university.
