The hotel is fine staff are great and very helpfull my room was clean and nice the only thing that might be of consurn to older people is there is no lifts to the rooms

This time stayed in room 7 . Room okay but needed a revamp. Guy tried to get into the room at 00.30 am. He did apologise to us in the morning. They changed continental breakfast to cooked breakfast.We send it back twice.... New cook apparently.

Pelo preço que pagamos estava ok. É bem localizado. Vamos lá... Localizado num area super barulhenta. Não se tem sossego. Mt mt barulho. No verão, o hotel se torna um inferno de quente. Não recomendo mesmo. O quarto é imundo. Tinha bicho em cima de mim de noite. Tem teia de aranhas cortina. Carpete do chão imundo. Enfim...péssima instalação. Só vale pela localização.

It was a family get together and I only needed a place to sleep, breakfast was a bonus. Not the best area of town but that didn’t matter, however I am disabled and staff did help with my stroller with the steep stairs.
It was cheap and clean and it was very good for what I needed.
There wasn’t a pool.

Lovely Grade II Georgian building, excellent staff, room is tidy and functional, breakfast is superb and right in the centre of town near everything you need, i have stayed multiple times and always book here, the rooms need a bit of TLC for a romantic get away and it would be nice if the had a Deafguard for visitors with hearing issues for the fire alarm. Would i stay again? yes already booked for next month.

Car park only 2 minutes walk from hotel, £5.10 for 24 hours. Stayed in room 5, which had a bath, which was a nice surprise.

It was a pretty clean room, good staff, and decent for the price.
I did have somebody trying to get into my room whilst I was inside, and only 2 light switches worked,however it was a decent little Hotel.

It was not easy to find the entrance, I ended up phoning to ask how to get in. It turned out the entrance was next door in the pub.
If your fit your ok, but I had a problem with my leg, and there was no lift, and the stairs were really narrow and with bends in.
I did ask the Lady behind the bar if she would carry my case. She was very nice and helpful saying I was on the second floor, but she could move me down to the first floor which I was grateful for.

Didn’t get any breakfast, never saw a menu. The staff were very friendly, but there was only two of them when I arrived full-blown Party even though I was on the top floor, I could still hear this bloody woman on the Mic. Room was very small and bathroom was very mouldy. The whole place was run down.

I visited for 1 night and prior to my stay I had emailed requesting rooms together which I did not receive a reply, this was a little disappointing as we were on different floors! We also felt a little unsafe at the property and the beds were very uncomfortable with springs noticeable! Our rooms were clean and had the basics of what was needed, however very outdated and I experienced a lot of plaster crumbling off my wall! I don’t think the hotel matches up with how it is described on advertised sites!

AVOID THIS PLACE.... Property is above a bar with serious property damage. Staff are ok but the room... Filthy, curtains falling off the windows. Feels like rooms are rented "by the hour" sort of place. Hotels.com approached to get a refund but they replied with "unable to contact hotel" type answer. Another lazy property owner not doing the basics. Owners should be ashamed. Do not believe the advertising.
