Excellent view Excellent location Nice staff for check in

This is an older hotel that sits right across tge street from the best beach in Nice. It is very close to restaurant row. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. For the price you get a beautiful room at a great location. Just overlook some of the dated furnishings and you will be very happy.

Beautiful location but a very old hotel needs updating. Reception staff was okay, breakfast restaurant staff was really good thanks to THARUN for amazing service every morning.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was genuinely disturbing. My girlfriend and I stayed in Room 209 from June 22–25. On June 24, I left the room around 2 PM with the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. I also told a housekeeper outside our room that my girlfriend was inside sleeping and that we did not need housekeeping. About an hour later, the housekeeper knocked. My girlfriend clearly told her from inside the room that she did not need cleaning and asked her not to come in. The housekeeper ignored her, unlocked the door, entered anyway, and went directly to her bedside. My girlfriend had just showered and was undressed in bed. She kept saying “no” and felt helpless because she could not get up without exposing herself. When I rushed back around 3:25 PM, the same housekeeper was outside with towels trying to get back in, and I had to block her. This was not just a language barrier: the DND sign was up, I had already refused service, and my girlfriend clearly refused entry. “No” is not ambiguous. We reported it to management. The apology felt vague, the incident was mainly blamed on language barrier, and we never received a meaningful follow-up. My girlfriend was so shaken she cried in the lobby, and we checked out early because we no longer felt safe. The hotel refused to refund the unused portion of our stay. For a four-star hotel charging over €500 per night, this was unacceptable. Guests’ privacy and safety should be basic. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Stayed fir one night. Great location

My biggest complaint was the AC. It was extremely hot and the AC was capped at 72 degrees/22 Celsius. We had to go out and buy two fans. Pros: You’re in the heart of Nice across from the beach. The lobby is also quite charming. Clean rooms. We stayed in a partial sea view balcony and had a big TV. Parking garages near by. Give out towels for the beach. Cons: AC only going down to 72 degrees. Our room had a shared door and I could hear the neighbors. Lady at the front desk was cold, which kind of set the tone. If I went back to Nice I would stay somewhere further from the crowds with better AC.

Lage, Lage, Lage… Und dazu historisches Ambiente - das älteste und erste Hotel am Boulevard. Direkte Strandlage (runde Kiesel)… naja der Boulevard davor ist teils 6-spurig… Grandiose Ausgangslage für den Walk zur Altstadt und allen Sehenswürdigkeiten Nizzas.

Beautiful, historic hotel off of the main promenade. Great staff that was very accommodating with our schedule. Easy walk along the promenade or beach to the old city.

Good hotel

The entrance to the HOrel West End is absolutely stunning. The hotel is not only well maintained, it is truly beautiful. The staff are attentive, professional and helpful to us and to each other. The breakfast buffet was no different. There were numerous choices, it was well stocked and efficiently maintained, satisfying all kinds of taste and dietary needs. The restaurant staff are equally professional. The dining room is so lush and green with a view of the sea – – an absolutely beautiful experience. Our “Classic” room, though it could definitely use a decor refresh, was clean, comfortable and easily accessible by elevator or stair. The location of the hotel could not be better—right across the promenade to a perfect spot on the beach. We had an excellent time in your truly beautiful city and your hotel had no small part in providing an excellent experience. Thank you!

À Great Classical hôtel that I know from childhood, with a stunning contemporary transcendance. The restaurant Le Siècle is also excellent
