I visited Hotel West End in Nice, France ten years ago. I was struck with the beauty of the hotel and its old World charm. It is as I remembered. The hotel is elegant and well maintained. Warm touches throughout, including beautiful boutiques of fresh flowers as you step onto your floor. One of the oldest hotels in Nice, it is well situated off the Promenade, and makes for easy walking along the shore and into the Old Town. We arranged a pick up service, through the hotel, and was picked up on time (despite several airline changes), with a greeting by name, on arrival. Check in was expedient, professional and friendly. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet as an add on to our package, and we could not be happier with the friendly staff service, expediency (in clearing used dishes), and maintaining a fantastic and full buffet (with fresh scrambled, eggs for boiling, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit (in salad and whole), full characuterie section (cold cuts, cheeses, etc.), and let's not forget the fresh baked goods (croissant, crepes, breads, pastries). Many more items.

Excellent location. We stayed in the Junior suite and this had a wonderful view and balcony over the Promenade. Room was very good as was breakfast and the service. Hotel itself was very nice - with a few nice lounges to sit in and even a 'Pool table' room.

Very good hotel. recommended. Right on the beach. Very close to Nice downtown and all the interesting places. Room spacious, clean, well done, even a little mirror to see the sea. Great staff, many things around. I rarely give 5 stars... it says it all.

A lovely hotel in an excellent situation on Promenade des Anglais. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was the best we've experienced. The buses and trams made it easy to get around and explore Nice and run frequently near the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and certainly hope to return soon.

The hotel staff were superb. My room was spotless and I especially appreciated the lady who came by each evening to see if I needed anything like tea, milk etc. the breakfast was wonderful and I enjoyed the restaurant on a couple of occasions during my stay. A lovely hotel close to everything.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful ten out of ten. Location was spot on right on the Promenade .The room though smallish was spotless and housekeeping was done every day. Breakfast was really good with many choices hot and cold food available. I've given 4 only because of the size of the room.
