Small secure hotel in the 4th. Close to metro Bastille or Sully-Morland. Safe during the day and evening, lots of shops, grocery, pharmacy and restaurants and bakeries in the area.We had the connecting rooms; two rooms with full washrooms connected with a hallway, felt like a house. The rooms were clean and had a safe and mini fridge. Street facing room had some noise in the morning for daily garbage collection, very quick. Back room faced a courtyard with access from the ground floor. Breakfast was more than expected. Eggs, deli meat, yogurt, cheese and puréed fruit cups. Mini croissants, pain au chocolate, variety of other bread as well as gluten free bread and a toaster. Coffee machine, tea and juice as well as cereals. Nice assortment or jams, honey and Nutella. Daily cleaning of our rooms with fresh towels. Wifi was good and staff were pleasant and courteous. There’s a computer and printer in the lobby.
This hotel is charming and has all the amenities needed.
I would return in a heartbeat.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Der Zustand ist allerdings nicht mehr auf dem neusten Stand. Das Zimmer war sauber, und ausreichend ausgestattet. Preis/Leistung stimmen. Für einen Kurztripp in Paris geeignet.

Hôtel bien situé, réceptionniste et personnel de chambre et du petit déjeuner très serviables et gentils, notre petit bémol le veilleur de nuit qui ne prête strictement aucune attention à vous.
L’hôtel est un peu d’époque mais la literie est confortable et les chambres sont propres.
Sa localisation est cependant parfaite pour pouvoir vadrouiller dans Paris en toute simplicité.

Okay, wenn man nur ein unbequemes Bett für die Nacht benötigt, wenn man Zeit im Hotel verbringen will, lieber nicht.

Our first 3 days were spent without hot water and then we had 2 days without a properly functioning lift. We were refunded 3 days money and our breakfasts were provided free. The receptionists were excellent and did what they could to diffuse the situation. The women in charge of the breakfast room on the otherhand didnt set the tables, or refill the items on the breakfast until asked even when there there was 2 hours left of service.

Location is great . I stayed here for one night as I was coming in from Newcastle to Paris for work . So I traveled all day to come into Paris and got into my room to take a shower and there was no hot water . Went downstairs and asked the staff he didn’t really care much and told me he forgot to tell me that there’s no hot water in the building ... Quite disappointed to be honest . Could have call and told me before I checked in so I could book another hotel . There was no hot water this morning either before I went to work .

Great little hotel. Close to shops and restaurants. Walkable and safe area. Small rooms but everything you need. Beds are fine but have large dips in the middle. Could use a refresh. Other than that it was nice, quiet and convenient

The hotel looks nothing like the lovely photos. I was surprised by how downtrodden it was. I only paid 140. If I had paid more I would have been mad.
It was quiet. The manager at the desk was kind and it was close to metros. Not recommended

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem. Die Dusche mit dem Vorhang ist keine gute Idee. Ich hätte gern nachts ein Fenster geöffnet, es gibt aber leider keine Gitter, so dass man sich nicht richtig sicher fühlt im Erdgeschoss. Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt, das ist gut. Das Frühstück ist bescheiden, mit 13 Euro aber angemessen. Richtig toll ist die Lage, der schöne Stadtteil Marais, der Verkehrsknotenpunkt Bastille, viele Restaurants und Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Es ist sehr ruhig in der kleinen Rue Castex.
