Great Breakfast and clean rooms

I just had an amazing stay at the Guyana Marriott. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing. I loved the mix of traditional Guyanese breakfast with more traditional American fare. Loved the options. Also enjoyed the Guyanese night dinner buffet. I enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and painting night activity. That was a lot of fun. They have a great pool and a gym. Overall just an amazing vacation in Guyana.

Very sparsebathroom amenities like soap, toilet paper. Disappointing

The staff were courteous and kind.

The restaurant service was poor, the staff was not friendly and welcoming. It took 2 hours before we could be served coffee and waited another half hour for breakfast to be served, only to be served the wrong items for one of the guests. The bill was prepared and missed one of the guest on the bill. The hotel did not have water coming through the taps for half a day. Had to request the hotel provide bottle water to the room. There was no announcement made to the guests. Taxi service provided by the hotel was unreliable, drove us around in circles for over an hour before finding the location.

I have stayed in ths hotel total of 9 nihjts in the past 1 month. Hotel was agreeable and staff were pleasant. However I was unable to have any proper sleep at night beacuse there was loud music playing in the beach and area associated with the hotel almost every night until 4 am in the morning. The rooms have almost no sound protection. I can even hear when the person in the room next door is having a bath.

The Marriott hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience.

The place is extremely noisy, with constant concerts on the beach or by the pool. I've filed multiple complaints about the loud music. There was also a day when I had no running water. I would definitely not return to this location.

Great location and amazing staff, Very clean there is a Bar and Restaurant also Taxi and car rental available on site.

I loved that it is quiet and away from hustle and bustle whilst within 5 drive or a 30 mins walk to the city centre. The Atlantic is right there to enjoy during a walk or run

The Hotel overall is very comfortable and clean and in a great location. The housekeepers came everyday and did a great job. I also felt safe during my stay. There can be some improvements on the maintenance in the rooms. The refrigerator was not cold, the bathroom sink kept flooding because the stopper did not work. My AC in the room kept getting warm and I called maintenance twice. My friend was in a room where the curtains on the windows were torn. I would still recommend the hotel because the hotel staff are very responsive if you have any complaints.

The room was clean and well equipped. We had a great view of Georgetown. The restaurant and bar were good value and had a wide selection of meals/drinks. The gym was a good size and had plenty of machines/equipment for upper or lower body exercise and cardio workouts. Would definitely stay there again.
