Staff were incredibly helpful & pleasant through my short stay.
Room was clean & breakfast fresh, as expected with an old property abit tired at areas but like the lift adds to the charm.

The room was spotless, the staff were always helpful and on point. Fresh water, tea and coffee each day. A large, quiet room. And a very quaint elevator, retaining the original feel of the building. Breakfast was included for us and it was simple but certainly adequate. Fruit, cereal, toast, muffins, omlettes and a good selection of Indian favourites. We ate dinner in the restaurant a few times. The food was always tasty, although not always the same as "home", but hey, it's India. If I wanted things to be the same, what's the point of travelling?

Perfect location to visit south of Mumbai. A soft renovation of rooms could enhance the experience. Staff at restaurant very friendly. Breakfast basic. Price per night in the upper range, but perhaps typical for Mumbai. Other places in India seem to have lower prices.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and professional. The rooms and general hotel ambiance were very English colonial. The location was very close to the cruise terminal.
The room floor was not clean. The bottom of my feet were dirty from walking barefoot in the room.

Wonderful staff who helped when my elderly father was sick. We stayed in a large family room, watch feels like a mini apartment, ideal for a family of three or four.. This is our second stay here.. The staff remembered us fondly from last year..it is located in a quiet, beautiful part of Mumbai and the hotel itself is an historic building..Will certainly stay again next time my family is in Mumbai.

古びてはいますが、客室はとても清潔で気持ちが良かったです。テレビの音量が下げられず困りましたが、テレビを見に来たわけではありませんので良しとします。シャワーは勢い良くお湯もちゃんと熱いです。窓からは通りの様子がよく見えて、旅情がありました。
ホテルの外観はコロニアル調で素敵ですが、内部の大きな吹き抜けも特徴的で素晴らしいです。スタッフは皆さんとても優しく、英語の下手な私の希望を聞いてくれました。過剰なサービスはせず、良い意味で放っておいてくれますが、こちらがお願いすれば迅速に動いてくれます。このホテルへ泊まりたくなって、またムンバイへ来てしまいそうです。ありがとうございました。

Firstly: I paid for an Indian friends room who checked in day after, but when she checked in they made her pay the room one more time, which was really embarrassing since I had promised her to pay for the room.
Secondly: I fell sick and posted don't disturb sign on door, the staff wake me up 2 times, knocking and ringing doorbell.

Firstly, double charged room for my friend, really embarrassing. I paid her room day before. Secondly, did not respect "don't disturb sign" on door, knocking and ringing on door waking me up, really annoying when sleeping while sick. No wine, this is "hard liquor" according to hotel.

Trevligt gammalt hotell med anor. Många material som är bevarade och uppdaterade.
Läget är perfekt. Vi kom med tåg till CST och kunde enkelt promenera till hotellet trots att vi kom efter att det blivit mörkt.

This hotel is an old hotel that could use an update. With that being said it was quite comfortable to stay in. The room was clean and in a great location. The staff was very good and the young lady who was the concierge was exceptional. She helped set up a tour for us when our hired guide did not show.

The hotel is in a good location and has some history, but had no doubt seen better days. The bed was comfortable, although the room only offered a small, frosted window, v so I could only tell if it was day or night and one what the weather was like if I heard pouring rain. The staff are helpful and welcoming

I had a wonderful experience during my stay in Mumbai, especially at a historic property located in the Fort area. Everything was great overall, but I was quite surprised to find that the hotel didn’t have any electricity backup—that's definitely something to consider.
Otherwise, everything was good. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
