I got prompted to leave a review because folks have been asking about Leela's breakfast menu.
First things first: I stayed with Leela in March 2026 and it was my third time there.
As always they do an impeccable job of taking care of the guests.
Regarding the breakfast menu: If you prefer Western then they have that. If your preference is Indian then they have a buffet style breakfast that will appeal to you. Also, should you have any reservations with the food they'd have in the buffet then you can let the chef know and they will accomodate any special food request inside 15 minutes which is something I really appreciated.
All in all, my experience at Leela was very pleasant, on my next visit to India I will most certainly be staying at Leela Sahar.

It continues to be one of the iconic hotels in the area. Some parts are a little dated, but that is expected given the age of the property. I stayed in a club room - worth every rupee.

My flight arrived very late, it was almost midnight when I arrived at the hotel. the front desk staff is very friendly. Checked me in very quickly. The room was incredibly clean and classy. The bed has a sun-kissed feel and is very warm and comfortable. This is definitely the most comfortable and cleanest hotel and room I have ever stayed in in India.

The food was very disappointing. Both on the garden terrace as well as in the CHinese restaurant. Fruit brought to the room was uneatble!
