I stayed in Trident first time and really enjoy this neat, elagant and friendly hotel.
The wooden decoration is not fency but make the room stable. Everyrhing is just good enough. Not over neither less. The most important, since stepping into the hotel, you feel very easy to interaction with the staffs.
Definitely here willl be my favorite hotel in Chennai.

We booked 2 king size bed room but when we check in midnight. The reception checked us in in 2 twin bed room. And after complaining they can only change one room to king size.

The room was advertised as for 4, but apparently only fits 2. The pictures posted on Expedia are deceptive. I would avoid this fraudulent hotel. No transparency is a very big red flag!

Yes the room was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally attentive, polite and accomodating.
I have stayed at some of the best hotels in the world but the Trident Chennai take it to a whole new level. You should be a 7 Star not 5

Fantastic Service, the staff was incredibly helpful and flexible when my partner had an upset stomach and needed some support. It was very easy to extend our stay. The gym is quite big and has lots of options. The restaurant offers fantastic food.
The air in the rooms can be quite stale. There is no way to open the windows and the AC doesn't really bring any fresh air.
