Central location and good breakfast.

Clean solid size room in good location. Elevator is old and slow but gets the job done

The only good part about this hotel was the Location! It is very close to all major tourist attractions and lot of hotels and shopping. For this particular property- Room cleaning was terrible where used cups glasses were never changed. We had to ask for toilet rolls and fresh towels again and again. We got checked in and as we enter the room the lady was still cleaning,- front desk had no idea if the rooms were actually ready. The rooms were not cleaned till late afternoons so if you want to be back in rokm around 1 to rest from heat, you have to stay in uncleaned rooms.The cleaning staff leaves by 3 so after that you are on your own. Thankfully they had an elevator but it was in a poor shape and scary to get in to. My kids preferred stairs for five floors all along our stay. The room set up is extremely claustrophobic. The AC did NOT work in the heatwave. The staff pretended to get it repaired but eventually told us its old model and doesn't work well. No replacement room was offered either. They gave us 2 table fans, which barely did the job.This led to a terrible stay experience. Hotel Sonya was a major and only disappointment in Rome.

Overall, I rate this as a not good hotel to pick. The room was not comfortable for the cost with very old amenities. The triple room we had was on the first floor of another building and the toilet was in the basement. Very bad smelly toilet and shower, old shower, and sink. The window was to the backyard of another building. The corridor was smelling moldy. Hopefully we only stayed one night. Staff was okay but could be better. Breakfast was also normal and ok. My previous experience in Rome in same area was much better.

Room clean. They kindly accommodated 3 single beds. Air conditioner was excellent and cold. Friendly and informative staff. They helped us getting taxi.

No Air conditioning.. but the place was affordable as just passing through. Not an 8.4 as listed but all hotels in Rome are similar and modern hotels will be a premium price

The hotel’s location was really good. We don’t mind walking, so most places we wanted to see or go to were about 10-15 min away. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning was very good. The bathroom was small as well as the shower, but for the price it was good. We stayed 3 nights and would go back again.

As a person who is gluten free the breakfast choices were very good!

A localização é ótima, perto dos principais pontos turísticos e também meios de transporte. O quarto é confortável, limpo e os atendentes são prestativos e atenciosos. Fiquei hospedado 4 noites e foi bem agradável.

Somehow good for the price but fair compared to other hotels. You get for what you pay. Location fantastic.

The room was fairly clean. The property is a few blocks to the train station. The hotel is old and worn out. I understand that a lot of European hotels are very old and on the small side, but this one was a let down. Air conditioning barely worked compared to other hotels in Italy and thick dust covered the elevator. The shower was very small. The breakfast was adequate and check in was very smooth. Pictures are deceiving.
